He lost to a very good and powerful young boxer who is a big hard hitting lightweight and to make it worse he fought a ****** fight. That doesn't mean he was overrated. he did great things as an amateur and a pro.

Exactly, he’s fighting and was winning above his weight class. He’s getting sh’it on for doing what people keep calling out other fighters to do.

most name fighters when they dont do as well as expected in a fight get bailed out by the judges and carry on as normal or at least get a draw out of fights most think they lost, the scorecards on the teo fight displayed clearly that was never going to happen with this one

but loma has done good at 135 but hes looked a bit vulnerable too i think, he should stick to 130 imo

350 lbs vs 130 lb Loma expressly against the rules of boxing.

Was he overrated at 126 and 130 all along? Or is he just not as good at 135?

Did he never actually improve after the Salido fight and can't deal with bigger guys who put pressure on you?
Nothing happened to him other than he got beat.

He was and still is a very good pro fighter.

He isn’t and never was an ATG fighter comparable to some of the recent ATG’s.

I think he can still win against top tier opponents.

The question is will he get winnable fights or will Bob make him the TR gatekeeper at 130 and 135.

              Styles make fights.

              Performances fluctuate.

              Size matters.

If size matters, stick to your division. You can't fight at a division several times, then cry after you lose, and use size as a reason. That's very dishonest.

Boxing is what have you done for me lately. You lose one fight, people will **** on you, and you lose value drastically. Loma has two losses, to not great fighters. One more, and he'll join the tier 3.

To answer your question directly: He wasn't all that. The hype was busted and exposed.

cat is out the bag now, guys know they can pressure him and he wont let his hands go, he should just go to 130 now

also to say he fought for title in his second "pro" fight is misleading since he had unofficial pro fights before.

yeah he was standing champ at 135, dont complain you are too small when before you were claiming you were top of the division.

when we had pac and mayweather, people dont realize we had something super rare, we had legit all time greats, like top 10 level all time greats. Everyone nows expectations are too high. loma was a good undersized champ with a huge amateur background and later start pro career, it is what it is. he was good, he wasnt canelo level good and he certainly wasnt may/pac good.
