This is what Usyk would have to be looking for is Deontay's set up, I think he'd need to keep Deotay moving - turning especially, and controlling range - to stop him from getting it off, or drawing it out for the counter. Whichever way he does it though it's a high risk strategy... Deontay only really needs to land one clean I think. Usyk wouldn't be getting up from the shot that dropped Fury for 9.5 seconds to my mind. It's also worth noting that just because Fury found a blueprint that worked for his bigger dimensions it took him 12 rounds to figure out how really put Deontay on the back foot.
We've seen over and over that Usyk takes time to figure opponents out in the ring often 3 or 4 rounds, but that he's extremely cautious - coy even - until he believes it's safe to open up... it's a trait he kinda shares with Lomachenko and we say only a coupla months back that it's a strategy which can backfire.
