The haters are in denial. They refuse to acknowledge the superhuman feat of managing to lose 20 lbs in barely a year after coming in 40 lbs overweight for the biggest fight - money wise - of his life. They can't wrap their feeble minds around the fact he can easily take it up a notch and get to just 10 lbs overweight to launch his triumphant comeback in a couple of months

Dropping weight is extremely easy ESPECIALLY when you have excess fat to lose so thats what always surprised me with Andy Ruiz with him being a millionaire that he couldnt get that under control.
I have checked out his videos and I like what his/Canelo's Team trainer is doing with Ruiz, they arent focusing on "fat losing" type of exercise that are calories burned focused rather they are just getting solid explosive muscle building work in and letting the diet do the cutting which is absolutely the way you should go about it if you want to lose fat as a man and not look "skinny fat" or "muscle less" at the end of the road/journey.Comment

Winner lol
You are completely right, and yes he was in horrible shape but a guy with his body type shouldn't be worried about shedding weight. It could be very detrimental to his career, just worry about training hard and FEELING like hes in the best shape of his career.
I remember arreola started trying to cut weight after the klitchko fight and his chin never seemed the same again. Some dudes are just heavy set, I know it's not the instagram picture you wanna take but that doesnt mean you're unhealthy or outta shape.Comment

Nah, the Ruiz before that - the fat dude with great hands that rose to prominence on the back of nearly 30 wins on the spin and a split dec loss to Parker. Who knew he'd abandon his faith and go partying for 2 months after reaching the top.Comment

Barely a year? He only started training with the Reynosos a few months ago.The haters are in denial. 5 minutes of fame?? Hey girl, go watch ballet, casual. Ruiz was well-known and lost a split decision fight vs Parker in New Zealand and many people thought Ruiz won. Joshua is a hypejob who basically ran and jabbed in the rematch against someone who did not train, oh, and only liked by Brits, and casuals like you who love his muscles.Comment
