He was fresh off a lose to an all time great. Before that he was arguably the number one welterweight. He’s too injury prone to fight warm ups. Crawford probably will fight another bum. Thurman would be the biggest name on either of their resumes. Crazy to think but it’s true.

Spence knows the biggest $$$ fight that gives him worldwide acclaim is Pac. All different countries would tune in. Spence knows Crawford cannot generate like Pac. Spence needs major paydays like other stars. Spence is playing chess, Crawford is playing checkers.

This is not about who is better at scheming and chess vs checkers. I thought boxing fans wanted to see the best fight the best and keep it moving. Canelo, Pacquiao, Mayweather and Anthony Joshua became big time draws because they took on all of the opponents. They didn’t play chess. They boxed.
