Why does Thurman deserve a title fight straight of a loss and double dose of surgery, just because Manny fights them broken doesnt mean TC and Spence has to, Thurman needs a tune up to see where he at.

          But what about this:

Yordenis Ugas, Keith Thurman express mutual interest in title fight

          October 26, 2020:

WBA “world” welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas and former “super” champion Keith Thurman have one another in their crosshairs. “One Time” states that a clash between the two is “real talk” and could serve as his next fight, and Ugas says they could put the matchup together “over the weekend.”

There really don’t seem to be any promotional barriers to overcome; both fight under the PBC banner and Ugas (26-4, 12 KO), who’s historically been a high-risk, low-reward opponent, is the one with the hardware this time around. The only question, then, is when and if Thurman (29-1, 22 KO) will actually be fit to fight. Elbow surgery kept him out for all of 2018, and he went back under the knife after last year’s loss to Manny Pacquiao to fix a hand injury.

I’m all for this, personally. Ugas deserves another big-name fight and finally has the leverage to get it.

He beat Porter back in 2016! He looked like azz vs. Josesito Lopez, and then lost to 40-yr. old Manny Pacquiao!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you calling Crawford all kinds of sub human filth for calling for the Pacquiao fight?

In 2016-17 he was the number 1 welterweight arguably. He lost to an all time great.

I still think he can still give Spence or Crawford a good fight.he’s too injury prone to fight warm up fights be real.

I wouldn't mind Keef/Ugas, problem there is that it sets up a Manny rematch for Keef - and I honestly don't think Manny will take it.

As far as Manny and fans, Spence/Swift was in front of a fairly large crowd, so that won't be an issue. I think Manny accepts it, he just has to wait until after he's out of session.

NOBODY should be criticizing Pacquiao/Spence. It's a top shelf fight between two champions, a unification fight, likely a lineal crowning fight, AND you'll either see Manny continue to defy age or you'll see Spence keep on proving certain members of NSB wrong.
He was fresh off a lose to an all time great. Before that he was arguably the number one welterweight. He’s too injury prone to fight warm ups. Crawford probably will fight another bum. Thurman would be the biggest name on either of their resumes. Crazy to think but it’s true.

Ugas is no "warm up" fight! That's a real fight! However, if I'm Spence, i'm like "prove yourself worthy!" I'd even make it "easy," beat 23-yr. old Boots Ennis, and i'll give you a shot!
