So basically no boxer deserves any credit then?? then man moved up and beat an undefeated prime champ who also had the ring belt but somehow he was wounded??wow..who is your favorite boxer?

I guess Trout was coming off the Cotto win, but everyone knew Trout couldn't stop Canelo, and it was open scoring. So no huge risk there either.

Trout was it. But that was 8 years ago.

Meanwhile they give Bud Crawford **** for beating the Iceman when he was coming off of a devastating KO against Matthyse. They'll talk about how Matthyse was shot and Postol was garbage, but at the end of the day he was ranked #1 in that division by the ring and coming off of the 2 best performances of his career.

Floyd did this all the time. But y'all want to act like anyone who argues that Canelo may not be the top p4p in the sport DKSAB. If you want to be #1 you get held to a higher standard FACT.

Canelo's win was no more impressive than Bud's win over iceman. But y'all wanna act like CAnelo's win gives him this resume like Floyd's but Bud fights bums. Ok...

Everyone on this website seems to despise Crawford. IT's pathetic. And they hide behind their usual "crawford resume is bs" but can't acknowledge the holes in the whole argument that Canelo has this godly resume. IT's usually the Crawford haters who brag about Canelo Muhammad Ali like resume.

Alvarez is one of the top guys of the era, but choosing to fight Rocky Fielding, rather than face Golovkin in a 3rd fight, will always be questionable.

your worst fears were confirmed this morning

                    * Canelo is #1, and getting better
                    * Golovkin is not a ATG

The Daily Bread Mailbag returns with Stephen "Breadman" Edwards tackling topics such as Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez, the career of Gennadiy Golovkin, Canelo's recent win, Lomachenko scoring comments on the Lopez fight, and more.

just like smarter posters have been saying for a long time !

Just saying that we shouldn't believe the BS narratives, and instead should evaluate things objectively and without hyper partisanship.

Smith for example, was just coming off a terrible showing where he lost to a Canelo-lite fighter. He wasn't exactly coming off a KO win over a top contender.
