Ruiz was a late replacement who upset the apple cart. Once AJ got the belts back, Ruiz lost his value. It's not like Ruiz has done anything recently to work his way into a rematch. Hopefully we get Ruiz vs. Ortiz next year.

Ruiz will be compared to a Buster Douglas but that should tell you how good AJ is . Ha
What you just said has nothing to do with what I said though. Nobody cares about Ajs win. The only fight people mention is the first one. People laugh at the thought of a muscled fighter who is taller and longer, who had to footwork his way to a decision win.

there was more at risk with aj though. he's a bigger draw than lennox lewis was, there's also the issues with networks and promotions at play now..
          so from his perspective..

          he was told
"keep it simple and you win with ease"
"go looking for a ko, you MIGHT end up losing again"

Lennox lewis took a few yrs to avenge his defeat vs Mccall.
if aj was scared why would he take the rematch at all?
the other issue was that people said 'aj cant learn to box in 6 months, he'll do the same thing again and get beat again'
no one expected aj to win the way he did.
ruiz called him a 'robot' all summer.

Freddie Roach always said fatty is more effective when he is fatty, if he’s cut weights he is not as effective.

There are numerous examples of this in sport and in life.

This is because of the cascade effect, the dramatic changes have on hormones and the immune system 'Tyson Fury is carrying more blubber now, than when he fought Wilder I' and Fury is stronger more robust etc

Andy Ruiz Junior at 250-260 pounds, was functioning optimally 'People were mocking his appearance, but I bet you? He had a higher VO2 max than most of the people mocking him etc

I just believe if he decided to make weighing 230 pounds primary goal 'It will back fire on him'.

What a load of ****ing rubbish, you’ve emboldened a few fancy catch phrases...

There Is zero benefit to Andy being obese, he isn’t a little soft he is clinically obese. The fact that he has got this far carrying that much weight is a small miracle.

All the hormonal benefits of loosing fat are positive, increased testosterone, blood pressure, blood sugar, 100% positive decrease/ increase in more or less every bodily function that can be measured.

Now obviously if he starved him self he would end up in a mess, as he is supposed to be an “athlete “ you would think he would have a diet tailored to drop a few lbs each week to bring him into a comfortable range over time..

Saying most boxing coaches are morons he will probably crash diet, ruin his metabolism and all you idiots will tell him to get fat again...

As a Ruiz fan I agree, he hasn't done a damn thing to position himself for another shot at a belt.

Some people and athletes cannot function at a low body fat percentage 'That is what I am stating, Ruiz Junior is probably one of those individuals'.

Body Builders are at their weakest during competition, weakest in strength and with their immune system 'This is well documented'.

Because I know the science, I can come in a thread like this 'And make those type of statements'.

If Ruiz Junior drops down to 230 pounds 'Anthony Joshua would push him over'.

David Tua was 225 lbs. when he was destroying guys like John Ruiz, Oleg Maskaev, and Hasim Rahman.

A small and explosive 235 - 240 lbs. Andy Ruiz Jr. would have plenty of power, plus a helluva lot more speed and endurance. You don't need one-punch KO power anyway when you're landing over 50% of your combination punches against a slower man who has nothing left in the tank.

That's what Andy needs to do. Be a counterpuncher in the early rounds, and turn into a swarmer when they show signs of weakness or run out of gas in the second half of the fight.

Throughout Ruiz Junior's career, what are his body weights? He has always carried blubber etc
