I think hes trying to use this fight to get more leverage on Bud.
Bud is a 3 division champion.
It should be 50/50.
Spence needs Bud more than Bud needs Spence.
Buds already a lock for HOf imo.

Crawford gets way too much criticism on here - imo it is only because he has probably the two biggest fanbases against him - Canelo fans, and then PBC fans. They hate him for obvious reasons so embellish anything negative about him.

I think Bivol has said he'd move down to fight Canelo. I'd give Canelo credit for that fight as I think Bivol could make the weight without being too drained.

I'd give Canelo credit for beating anyone listed in the poll except Spence. Spence is too small and unproven above 147. The rest of those guys are the top guys at 160 and 168. None of them are exactly proven killers imo so they wouldn't be great wins but they'd be good/very good wins to add to an already deep resume.

He didn't want Andrade or Charlo at 154 or 160. He fought Liam Smith instead. He clearly took the weakest link in Kovalev at 175. He won't fight Bivol or Beterbiev unless they start slipping. He doesn't even mention Benavidez name and these are his toughest challenges. It is what it is.


All of the casuals will say Andrade isn't deserving or is not a challenge but people that truly know the sport think differently. His style and skills would cause major problems for Canelo and he knows it.
