Benavidez or Plant. Maybe Saunders a long ago at 160, but he has been awful.

Can you just answer the question, daggum?

What names will you give him credit for beating under 175 lbs? If there are none just say so.

I was really saying 'next' for any of those fighters. As we saw with Smith vs Ryder, a guy can go from legit to 'eh' in one fight.

Spence fight shouldn't even be considered until Spence fights Bud.
And it's 2-3 weight classes up. Spence can't hurt Mikey or Danny or Shawn. How is he going to do anything to slow down a big puncher 3 weight classes up.

              Exactly.
I think hes trying to use this fight to get more leverage on Bud.
Bud is a 3 division champion.
              It should be 50/50.
Spence needs Bud more than Bud needs Spence.
Buds already a lock for HOf imo.

All of them would be very good W except Spence and GGG

Spence would be another Khan-like mismatch

GGG...that depends, GGG would need to beat someone with a pulse next, then Canelo needs to beat him very convincingly this time

I made a thread about a year & a half ago about" Smith being easy work for Canelo not because hes sht but because styles make fights"& I was arguing that Smith is no boogieman like 99% of this board was saying & that Smith is not a bridge too far as most then believed,& there was hardly any responses because most knew they'd be forced to eat their words they'd say daily. They'd constantly say how much he was shook of big bad Smith.

I also made a thread with a poll just like this one about 2 years ago & asked who anyone thinks beats Canelo,& therefore hed get credit for,of course hardly anyone voted & Jacobs was heavily chosen as who hed duck,& when it was signed he became C level.

Suffice to say most his detractors like Daggum intentionally never say whom hes ducking anymore because hes had to eat those words so often, the hip Canelo haters all just say everyone he fights is a cherrypick, then they watch hoping he loses to them anyways, then they say "see I told you all the champs are bums,

Canelo only fights lineal champs back to back in 3 divisions because they're bums yo,he should pick on ppl his own size not too big of boxers"

For me it's not the opponents, he has a stacked resume. It's the A side advantages he has that spoils it for me. Drugs issue, questionable scorecards if its close. Short notice for opponents .

He's a hall of fame fighter as it is. Possibly the best in the sport at the moment but I would like to see him clean out 168 and stay as a dominant champion (obviously if its with out the A side privileges) .
