RIP Frankie!

Note: all the role models Floyd mentions in the video suffered later in life due to boxing and left us way too soon, Pernell Whitaker, Roger Mayweather and Frankie Randall. Boxing is so brutal and 2020 sucks, but that's why Floyd was careful
Awesome video and R.I.P to Frankie “The Surgeon” Randall. I still remember that straight right hand that put Chavez down in the 11th round of their first fight.

Randall was the first fighter who wasn’t screwed by the judges or the referee against Chavez, there’s a difference. RIP champ.

Most fighters who fought Chavez develop some sort of brain impairment Taylor Whitaker Randall Camacho and they’re all dead

Great win over Chavez. The judges/ref were trying to rob Randall the whole fight. Chavez Sr might be sorest loser in history of the sport.

                    Class act

Frankie was a class act. So sorry to hear that he has passed. To his son, family and friends I hope you can find strength in knowing that he meant a lot to his fans and the boxing community. Frankie and his foe Chavez were two fighters that demonstrated what the sport should be about professionalism and elite athletic skill (in their trilogy of matches). Unfortunately boxing is a ''hurt business'' and can bring problems when careers end - many fighters won't escape the ravages of this sport later in life - his memory will live on with his fans!
