I agree Canelo ducks a lot, but when it comes to Benavidez, Charlo, and Andrade, he has no reason to. Mismatches all the way. Benavidez and Charlo only make the final bell because they're bigger. Andrade who knows.

The bout with Yildrim makes sense. Canelo is going for all the 168 lbs belts. Yildrim is the WBC mandatory and they will strip Canelo of the WBC belt if he does not fight Yildrim. That is why Canelo wants to fight Yildrim quickly so he can fight Saunders May and then Plant in September or vice versa. You will recall that Cinco de Mayo and Diez y Seis de Septiembre are big Mexican holidays and big fight weekends. It is a smart move by Canelo and his team.
