$75m from 2 yrs?
ok
so going backwards on this
Fury $20m
ortiz $10m at a push.
"Ortiz 2 fight purse, prize money. Wilder will make at least $3 million, while Ortiz's payout begins at $1.5 million, per Yahoo's Kevin Iole. But according to an ESPN report (via Forbes), Wilder will end up with closer to $20 million, and Ortiz $7 million.23 Nov 2019"
it did 225k buys..so no, he wasnt getting no $20m.
the reason why espn always always lie like this is their own little form of propaganda. eg they conveniently blagged that 'wilder is the most popular boxer in america' right when wilder-aj negotations with dazn were in the works. it was convenient.
brezeale $10m
it wasnt even a ppv fight. showtime were forced to pay 10m to counter dazn's $20m
it's similar to when a $5m offer for whyte from eddie, resulted in a $2m payout from showtime for the ortiz fight. basically showtime dont pay the same as what matchroom offer.
fury $5m max..
even if you say it's 10m..
that's $50m..maybe maybe $60m if we blag it a bit more...but $75m? no chance
doesnt matter who reported it
lol you're getting angry because im saying 'wilder wasnt paid the amount you think, but joshua was paid more than what's been reported'
reality is america is a dirty place with dirty weird media politics at play.
hence wilder later saying
"AM DA MOSEDISTEST SEARCHED BOXA ON GOOGLE"
(he isnt)
heres how things work in the real world
skipper says "ive got 100 mil for you...including an AJ fight"....now wilder still wouldnt have fought AJ yet so he wouldnt have made 100 mil yet anyways but thats neither here nor there
haymon says "dont take it..ill get you money".....haymon has to come up with similar money to keep wilder happy
as ive pointed out...when DAZN and hearn came for danny jacobs haymon saw the offer was too good to pass up and he couldnt match it and said "go ahead"......haymon convinced wilder not to take it on the promise he would get him similar money
here what happens if haymon convinces wilder to walk away and gets him short money....all of the loyal fighters al has are angry and want to walk away(and he has a bunch of very loyal guys who love him and stick with him)...and no up and comers will want to go near haymon...
idc if you think haymon lost money on paying wilder...he very well might have....reality is if he convinces a big named fighter to walk away from a sweet deal and doesnt come up with similar money not a single fighter will trust haymon...and haymon has a long list of named fighters who are loyal...its simple logic and good business practive....you think wilders money numbers is just wishful thinking on your part
haymon made wilder a very rich man in a weak american boxing market.....AJs name and the prospect of fighting him certainly also helped....

just like when all you haters said "no way he has 50 mil for AJ"...like haymon cant come up with 50 mil...**** he could ask floyd for a loan if he had to lol...haymon can come up with money....and for wilder he had to because wilder sat down with john skipper....haymon got him to turn that down...now i know some of you are really dumb and dont understand things....but advisors wont tell you to turn down 100 mil unless they can promise to deliver on similar money....and haymon wouldnt wilder too either
remember...when DAZN/hearn came with a sweet deal for danny jacobs he said "go" and let him do it....haymon wasnt going to promise wilder money for other fights and not deliver...his rep wouldnt be able to handle it...al of haymons fighters would be pissed...people would leave and no young kids would want to mess with him

The pbc is a black cult
Eddie Hearn and dazn are the devil
Etc
Wilder got the short end all because to him Al haymon is the new Elijah Mohammed. It's just a modern boxing version of NOI.
No...wilder didn't earn what you're claiming. All inflated numbers to try and blag 50% Vs AJ.

So the first two fights would have been against Plant/Charlo. Good for Canelo for not wanting to sign a three fight deal and he wouldn't have been able to fight in 2020 with the PBC as they couldn't put on a PPV on December 19.
And no need for a catchweight fight against Charlo. Just make it at 168. Canelo dictates if he wants a catchweight or not against Charlo, not the other way around.
But I'm sure this offer or a similar offer will be on the table in 2021. Canelo has a lot of options.
Plant or a grub? The Charlene sisters? In drag?
We'd rather see the Kirkland rematch!
