    3. Canelo- MOOOOLah from a fight with the cash cow. Top 2 p4p fighters meeting in the most anticipated fight since Floyd/Manny.
    def agree

    i wonder what exactly manny wants to do next...i think if manny does something else spence should try to fight thurman....then go to table with bud...if bud doesnt want to play nice then he could look past him to canelo....

      Imo Spence almost had to fight manny next. If not manny then Crawford.

      Thurman or khan would be terrible imo. Thurman is coming off a loss (arguably 2) and has fought twice in 4 years. Ugas?

      Spence in a real tough spot financially. Al may have to take a loss and over pay manny and make it up on the back end.

      Unless the plan is to feed old Floyd to Spence. That would sell huge.

        def agree on your last sentence...my only question is what if manny isnt keen on spence and/or al doesnt want to overpay manny? what would spences next step be? you think straight for bud? i think he goes thurman then for bud

        i never mentioned khan! khan? lol...no way....khan is worse than thurman right now by a wide margin

          selling the belt? Have any evidence of that? A lot more plausible explanation is that he wanted to make money, accepted the fight, and lost fairly.

            yeah thurman is coming off a loss...but it was an entertaining and close loss.....its like saying "no way bud should have been trying to fight porter instead of brook...porter was coming off a loss"....yeah but that loss was a FOTY candidate against spence...yeah maybe if thurman was off a loss to someone lesser than pac...i still think thurman is a viable opponent for spence if need be

              If not Crawford or manny only khan or Thurman have any kind of name value at 147.

              If not then you have to make mando. That would be Ugas I believe.

                Yes sold the belt - took a lot of damage in that Yarde fight but took the Canelo fight with only 2 months of rest. Agreed to a rehydration clause. Fought scared all night. He knew he had every disadvantage in the book going into that fight which is why its called selling the belt.

                If he weren't a total coward he would have insisted on at least 6-8 months off, but Connelo never would have given him the fight.

                  If that's what selling the belt means than sure that's exactly what he did. I don't know how that makes him a coward. Stacking the deck in your favor can be seen as cowardly but giving up advantages is just reckless and ****** but not cowardly. That is assuming he cared about winning at point and it wasn't just a money grab. If it was a money grab he did everything perfectly.

                    Fury. He has never made a defense.
                    He took the Wlad fight because it was an opportunity for him. He took the Wilder fight because it was a payday coming off a layoff.
                    Outside of those two (and Wilder has been exposed as not all that) his record comprises a steady diet of absolute nobodies. He is the second most overrated HW in history, after Wilder.
