    Low Risk High Reward

Lately I see so many guys taking low risk high reward fights. Who are the worst offenders?

    Obviously your #1 P4P pick.

Care to share with the class who that is so I can detail every single fight they had that fits the criteria?

If y'all say Bud's opponents are all bums how can any of those fights be low risk high reward? Get your facts straight.

Mikey Garcia chasing to fight EJ instead of Loma to unify or Bud at 140.

Low risk cuz nobody actually expected Mikey to win. It's a fight that nobody wants to see and nobody's gonna diminish Mikey's skills if he loses. High reward cuz if you move up 2 weight classes and beat EJ, you're p4p #1.

If he had fought Lomachenko, he probably woulda won, but if he'd lost that fight it woulda been a much bigger hit to the resume. Same with Bud.

If Spence does the same thing with Canelo, that'd be another example. GGG the way he's chasing Canelo but not the Charlos, that's another example.

What you’ve basically just said is by losing to the top end fighters - Canelo & Spence - you gain more reward and less risk of hit to your reputation.

Well of course that’s the case.

If someone beats Joshua or Fury they have a huge gain to their rep , if they lose they were only expected too anyway.

That’s just obvious; beating Loma previously was the same before he suffered a loss. Lopez is up there for fighter of the year as a result.

Crawford is less reward because he isn’t considered the same level because he hasn’t beaten opponents at the top end yet.

The opposite is when you fight a young hungry lion who has a good chance of knocking you off the top of the mountain. Like if Keith had actually defended his belt against EJ.
