Smith looked fine for the first 2 rounds

Then he suffered a serious bicep injury. All things considered, Smith did an amazing job just staying on his feet for the full 12.

If there is another similar thread, apologies, I didn’t see it.

Doesn’t change the fact that it was a freak injury and left Smith with the use of only one arm for nearly 10 rounds. Making a big deal of Canelo’s domination of the fight after that seems rather misleading, don’t you think?

I dont think it bothered him that much until after the fight when he cooled down.

He got hit with a good body shot early and he shelled up, Canelo was just a class above and Smith knew it early on.

Eddie Hearn lied and said he hurt the arm early in the fight to try to make excuses for Callum.

But the video evidence shows that his arm wasn't swollen until the last few rounds.

How long does it take a detachment of the bicep to swell visibly? I doubt seriously it’s instantaneous.

Instant. When a muscle tears off the bone like that, bruising is instant (blood under the skin) and likely would have swelled up shortly there after.
