Whilst canelo is busy unifying at 168, why doesn't Golovkin unify at 160? First up, andrade. He's with dazn too so easy to make . . . unless one of them doesn't want it?

No interest in the ggg rematch as ggg is getting on in the years.
Yeah he knocked out the mandatory, but that guy was simply outgunned and out of his league.
I think canelo would UD him even clearer this time. In saying that, when ggg was tearing it up and only starting to decline.. canelo dropped the title and didn’t want a piece of him. And rightly so, because if he took him on back then, I think ggg would’ve been fresh enough to beat canelo even clearer than the first time they fought. (Although I’m sure they would’ve made it a majority draw)
Canelo earned a close but clear Victory the second time.. and as ggg ages his chances become slimmer.

Chavez jr., rocky folding, Kovalev, now Smith...FIXED FIGHTS. Now he wants to fight BJ and making Ggg wait even more.
Clenero is a massive plodding fraud. If I was GGG I'll tell the fraud to go kick rocks, ggg beat him in the 1st fight and the second GGG edge it or could've been a draw. If a Clenero fanboys reads my comment their tampons will overflow.Comment

Don't think Canelo retires Golovkin. I give Canelo credit for doing what he did against Smith but it's amazing how much better these guys make him by simply not having a jab. Fielding didn't have one, Jacobs doesn't really have a jab, Smith doesn't have a jab. Kovalev did and we saw how he made Canelo look rather uninspiring at times. So long as GGG has his usual jab, Canelo won't blast through him. He might finally give a convincing win but anyone thinking he blasts through Gennadiy is just wishful thinking.
Canelo is great and improving - but Ryder was bullying Smith the same exact way, just not quite as dominantly or clinically.
Sadly we know Kov is faded. Jacobs fought a solid fight, just didn't really go for it, and came up short on my card.Comment

GGG has been a bad matchup for Canelo so far because his workrate is much superior to Canelo's. He lands the jab pretty easily and very often.
Unless Canelo can hurt him, which is very possible, or back him up in a similar way that he did to Kov/Smith, which is very possible, I don't see fight 3 going any different to the first 2.
GGG will just outwork him, should win a decision on the cards, everyone who hates GGG will say he lost/Canelo fans will say Canelo won, and we will be right where we are today.
That being said - I wouldn't mind seeing them fight as many times as they can, until a conclusive winner, aka a KO, comes about. Worked for Marquez and Manny.
Canelo is looking stronger and GGG is getting older. I don't think GGG would just come to survive though and we would probably get a great fight if they matched up again. I think Canelo knows how much that fight would take out of him, and I don't think he is super keen on that matchup when he has others he can take.Comment

Canelo is fighting champs in different weight classes and gets hated for it while GGG is happy fighting bums and his fans are ok with it cause they feel he's entitled to fight Canelo. We never saw GGG try and challenge himself and fight those same fighters Canelo fought. He rather take on his mandatories who are bums. GGG isnt even willing to fight BJS, Andrade or Charlo.Comment
