Definitely see your point...but the funny thing is, in a way Smith got beat last fight by a guy (Ryder) who is maybe around Kamil's level, in those weight classes. Someone pointed that out the other day and I thought it was funny, but it's not entirely wrong either.

Don't think Canelo has much business to settle with GGG at this point. Canelo is younger and faster i see that as a lopsided win for Canelo. GGG has great potential fights at 160 against Andrade or Charlo, Canelo can fight Saunders at 168 and look to unify the division.

I don’t think he ever stopped with the Mexican beef. Just hasn’t gotten caught again

Yeah, no need for a third fight then. GGG needs to rematch Derevyanchenko or Jacobs next.

It goes to show how much he respected Golovkins power & game. He lost that fight no matter what the official record says and I think he knew it. His own people booed him for the 1st time. I think that’s why in the 2nd fight he fought like the Canelo we all love maybe he was thinking he would lose a decision had he fought that same defensive style again in the rematch. I still thought the G-man edged it. I think Canelo just got extra credit for coming forward when everyone thought he wouldn’t.

GGG isn’t the same guy from them 2 fights. Anyone who disagrees is either blind, naive or have a narrative they want to push based on what they believe the outcome will be. He was already slightly past his best the first time they fought 3 years ago. If they step in the ring again it’ll be 4 years later & he’ll be 39. Canelo has gotten better & still at the peak/prime of his career at 30. I think Gs window of beating Canelo has closed. As a fan of both, I’d prefer they leave it where they left it. I got them 1-1 in my book. a 3rd fight just won’t have that same luster the 1st two had, given how separated they are now.
Quite many people seem to attribute GGG's slide to the Canelo's fights rather than age.

If they want to do it again, thats fine but its time that Canelo and GGG fight other top fighters at 160/168 because there are a huge number of guys from Charlo, Benavidez, Andrade, Plant, Murata, Mungia, Saunders, Steven Nelson, Lemieux, Gongora, Berlanga. All these guys within their weight classes or even near their weight classes should fight as well. Long ago they would have had a PPV that went like this:
              Canelo vs Benavidez
              GGG vs Charlo
              Steven Nelson vs Gongora

Canelo might not run form any fighter, but he avoided GGG for 2 years before accepting the fight. I also thought that he lost both of those fights to GGG. He fought with more gallantly in the second fight, and fought back in both. There are some other fighters that fans wanted to see him fight that haven't happened yet. He does get kudos for taking the Callum Smith fight, and beating him. All in all he has been a very good champion throughout his career. I also believe that he'll seek to end his career with the big fights that have been waiting for.

I think both of those pitched battles, took something out of both of them.

I think anytime these to meet in the ring, they'll always has a contested battle. They just have a competitive spirit that gets ignited when ever they're matched. GGG is also so pissed off that he didn't get the decision in either of those fights, that he's going to go at it with an added fervor. Making it a must see fight, for all of the worldwide fans in the sport of boxing.
