Just sitting back enjoying the meltdowns. This reminds me of the the night Kovalev got KTFO. The theme that night was it was fixed and Kovalev took a dive, tonight its Canelo is roided to the gills.

That said, the amount of impact that Canelo‘s punches has isn’t normal. I said during the fight that it was like he had rocks in his gloves. Even if Smith was very drained like I think he was, I’m not sure that fully explains away the force of his shots. I’m not going to straight up accuse him of anything but considering that the whole “Mexican beef” fiasco was fairly recent and was never conclusively settled one way or another, I’m not going to blame anybody who’s su****ious of him.
      Any excuse will do

I prefer the clean versions, I'll still always watch Canelo fight. Even though it's obvious he is cheating hes still got remarkable skill and ability.

I just admire the guys who did it clean throughout their careers ie Nonito Donaire

then how come he couldnt even knockdown mosley????? a much smaller pac was able to knockdown mosley but not the much bigger supposedly harder hitting canelo.

how come he couldn't take out angluo the same way kirkland did??? canelo was landing shot after shot on angulo, but he never even went down.

how come canelo couldnt even hurt an old past prime small cotto even though sadam ali easily could??????

now canelo is able to KO light heavyweights. extremely su****ious hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

He's the most obvious I've seen since Povetkins really obvious phase. He is 100% absoloutley juiced to the gills, but it is what it is in this sport we forgive guys for juicing all the time I just don't care any more.

I don't know what fight you were watching if you don't think Trout looked more tentative than usual. Canelo's counters had him staying busy throwing a lot of pawing shots when he'd never been reluctant to trade in the past. Every once in a while Trout would try to mix things up but Canelo would knock him on his heels and have him think better of it. That fight didn't even feature much action yet Canelo dropped him hard and had him doing the chicken dance.

As for Cotto, again that was largely a boxing match in which Cotto spent much of the fight circling away and throwing a lot of tapping shots instead of digging in like normal. And again, even without a lot of intense action, Cotto was bloodied and battered by the end.

The fact that you both brought up the Mosley fight when he was 21 speaks volumes. You might as well bring up Ryan Rhodes while you're at it.

At any rate, not only has Canelo evolved from fight to fight and stylistically changed by pressing on the front foot, his mindset in the ring is very different. In some of his past fights he seemed content to do enough to bank in the rounds and clinch a decision, but ever since he accepted GGG's Mexican style challenge in the rematch (and beat him at his own game), he seems more eager to make a statement. He had the Callum fight in the bag going into the championship rounds yet was pushing for the stoppage which he was unable to secure (credit to Callum's heart and resilience) yet you insist his power is impossible to believe? Yeah, okay. More like you're unwilling to give boxing's p4p king his just due for a dominant performance.
