By all accounts yes:
Dmitry Pirog ruptured a disc in his back while training, forcing him to pull out of an Aug. 25 HBO main event against middleweight titlist Gennady Golovkin, promoter Artie Pelullo told ESPN.com on Thursday.
And the thing is his style heavily dependent on his lower back movement and flexibility too, guess once it went it was always gonna be hard for him to come back. Damn shame though... Dmitry was one of those unique talents that wasn't quite like anyone else stylistically and the GGG vs Pirog fight coulda been an epic.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 12-19-2020, 04:17 AM.Comment

Dude, look at the names you listed.
Now, contrast that with who beat them.
Mikey Garcia lost to the #1 Welterweight.
Porter lost to prime, undefeated Kell Brook who was at the top of the game, then #1 Welterweight Keef, then #1 Welterweight Spence. Porter has no official L against anyone who wasn't at the top of the mountain.
Manny lost to current and future Hall of Famers. Yes, even Horn, who competed successfully in three different divisions and at one time was basically supporting the Australia economy with his fights. Manny had two fights of questionable loss very early - nobody holds those early losses against a fighter.
Finally someone understands why David Haye is rightfully on the list.Comment

remember the sit down face off between Wlad and Haye
Haye was suspect talked too good of a game
I thought Haye deserves to get punched in the mouth if these checks he writing can’t be cashed
Come fight night Haye isn’t even trying to win. Automatically in survival mode WITHOUT getting an azz beating
Kept getting on his knees g@y as fComment
