If Smith and GGG lost to Ryder and Devry, “winner” had pointless fights w/ Canelo?

I thought Golovkin narrowly beat Derev, as did most people, but some did see it differently, a lot of them Canelo fans with an agenda. No agenda with how we saw Ryder-Smith because nobody knew he'd be fighting Canelo. In fact back then Canelo fans said Smith lost to Ryder and that he ******. Now they talk up how great he is as an opponent

    Not quite the same thing
Most people on the forum had Devry beating GGG.

Canelo facing the 4th best SMW. not too bad for a tune up
What fight is it a tune up for?

Here’s the deal, I consider Canelo to be the best fighter out the right now. As such, I expect more from him than fighting the six or seventh best option out there. A nagging question, why does team Canelo insist that the only way Plant gets a fight is with a short camp? Why can’t ggg get a rematch? Legacy and money wise, that’s the biggest fight out there for Canelo. Why did he fight Kovalev (again with the short camp) but seems very reluctant to fight Beterbiev or Bivol? In the past Canelo was very willing to fight the best, what happened?
Why did Floyd fight Maidana twice, PAC, Berto? When he was criticized for not defending his WBC and WBA 154 belts? Lara was there, a Haymon fighter...

You’re saying Canelo should fight GGg a third time because of money? That’s like saying Floyd should’ve gave PAC a rematch because of money? And then Berto?

        I mean these are “facts.”

This is already debunked my son.

Plant wasn’t interested twice. If you’re your own promoter YOU MAKE THE CALLS, not, “let’s see what Al says” as if they’re Mayweather circumstance to say such a thing. Andy Ruiz got more balls than Plant. PAC rose to fame by short notice. These excuses from fans are gay... seriously. If you claim you can beat Canelo make the move. Plant since February to December dodged the fight. This Tenessee dummmy ain’t about that life

deflection! And not for nothing but Floyd fought Maidana twice because the first fight was close, Pac/Berto? Not close

Any level headed person had ggg winning the first fight and plenty thought he won the second (not me). So why not a third? As I posted, legacy and money wise, it’s the best fight for Canelo.

Quit dodging the question. Why does the only time Plant’s phone ring is in a short camp situation?

I hope you’re right but looking at the landscape, I doubt it.

No no no. You’re confused and deflecting on yourself. A sides (Money May and Canelo) make choices that make sense, hence the money, so if you criticize Canelo you have to criticize Floyd.

I keep telling you guys, hating on Canelo is ******, and Floyd passed the torch.
