This is exactly what I said earlier...its probably the mandatory. He's fighting the highest ranked available challenger in the IBF rankings. But with the IBF and all bodies you had better get confirmation because they'd turn right around and put someine in that nunber one spot and order yet another mandatory. However If Canelo gets by Smith it will be interesting to see what he does. In thr meantime sitting around taking tune ups hoping to be picked is the wrong idea. I think Plant should be fighting Benavidez right now. Then he should fight Saunders. Clean out the division be the last man standing so Canelo cant go around you then a Canelo fight for undisputed is huge.
