Dont think plant has anything for benavidez. Not enough punching power, benavidez will just plow forward and wear him down.

I'm sure plant is hoping to still cash in on a canelo fight if canelo wins. He will steer clear of benavidez if it's a possibility

Its just a tune up for Plant, nothing more or less. Keeps his schedule close to Cinnabons.

Caleb Truax is worn out and used up - and that is at Middleweight, not even a super middleweight.

Uzcategui found out differently since he got knocked down twice. Appears to me plants punching power is fine after his hands surgery

He isn’t that bad at all. The problem as I’m sure you’ve seen is boxing boards have been fully infiltrated by uninformed, know nothing, boxing casuals. Instead of being happy that a Ring Mag #6 is being given a title shot and the ability to see a good match up they’d rather b i t c h because they are celebrity hounds.

When they love a celebrity they fawn all over him into a slobbering love affair. When they hate a celebrity they gnash at the teeth and complain. These are your boxing casuals today.

He’s a former world champion at super middle. He never held a title at middleweight. So I don’t know what you’re talking about...

He got dropped but plant was looking pretty worn toward the end of that fight. And uzcategui is not benavidez lol

No, truax shouldnt fight for a title.
That he still is ranked #6 is a testament of how bad that weightclass is currently.

Truax last win at 168 was in december 2017. How can he still be ranked #6? That win was btw. Against Degale and then he proceeded to lose the rematch.

Even in his last fight at 175, he would have drew with a random journeyman if the other guy wasn't penalized for hitting behind the head.

So I dont know what you are talking about.
Fighting mike lee, feigebutz and truax for your first three defenses is a bad look.

Benevidez has a TON of holes in his game. He lunges in during punches, he throws wide sweeping shots and his footwork is sub par. His power yes is undeniable. However you’re also taking about a boxer with elite speed, footwork and counter punching. That why I’ve always felt that when Benevidez faces a true elite boxer who he’ll have to chase around the ring I feel he’ll get lit up off counters all night long and become frustrated.
