Who hasn't outboxed Wilder? Spzilka, Gerald Washington, Ortiz, Molina, et.

Wilder has never been a skilled fighter yet people are acting as if Fury beat Prime Ali.

Fury will suffer a loss soon, if he doesn't retire like he did last time to avoid rematching Wlad or defending the belt he has.
What he did to Wlad was unprecedented--

He's a unique fighter--and very good. Do not let it get to you

I dont think Fury is overrated though.

        The argument you’re making tc

“He beat wilder who even when he gets outboxed manages to find a way to win.” Lmao okay

Will he beat Joshua? I don’t know. I’d think he’s the favorite though. It’s a toss up imo. I’D bank on Fury’s chin over AJs though. Fury is the lineal hw champ. It’s hard to be overrated when youve beaten the “man” and havent lost since
You can't loose if you av never had a title defence. There is no magic to that. As far as boxing is concerned, fury has zero title defence.

            This.

The thing is yes some people think he matches up well in many fantasy fights (me included) but this is an important point why.

People who say he’s an oaf, not that skilled, yada yada. You’re not completely wrong. He doesn’t have all time great or p4p type skills. The thing is he doesn’t need to. He can do more with less because he’s a literal giant who happens to not move as clumsily as almost every man his size does.

He’s a fluid for his size giant. He’s practically a different division in terms of size differences. He makes AJ and Wilder look like a cruiserweight and these guys are f ucking HUGE.

Fury in MMA would need to cut weight every fight. He’s close to 10 pounds over the HW limit.

He may not look like Canelo or bud in there but size matters when it’s that much. It’s not just how skilled he is. It’s how skilled he is at THAT size.

Imagine. Jaime Munguia would beat the life out of Shakur Stevenson and it doesnt matter how much better Shakur is. That’s a 30 lb diff. Fury is 30+ to AJ and was 60+ over Wilder.

He’s not fighting Lennox and Evander and a prime Mike and Ali, and all these people back to back. His era isnt his fault.

He’s very good and he’s *very* big. Devastating combo so far

People would argue he’s been defending the lineal title the whole time. People have to stop acting like Fury’s been back for two fights. He’s already fought six times and two of those were Deontay.

AJ has ONE title defense in his current reign like...I’d get your argument if he had a GGG like streak of defenses going but no. AJ’s best win isn’t as good as Fury’s and Fury’s second best win is better than anything AJ has..and there’s a loss on AJ. Now, AJ’s resume continues past those two wins and I see the argument of AJ being seen as having a better resume past that. But most people think Fury is #1 right now and he’s the betting favorite and rightfully so. Whether you want it to be considered 1a and 1b doesnt matter. Fury would still be in that A spot

I like Fury and would hope he beats AJ, but I’m not sure he wants the fight. Lot of AJ haters on here and I get it, he’s got this weird public persona, but I’m convinced he will take any fight.

Regardless, they’re numbers 1 and 2 and it would be great to see. No idea who wins, appreciate why Fury is favourite but I’d slightly favour AJ.

I’d be happy to see AJ - Usyk otherwise.

I've always rated him to be just a clumsy guy who uses his size to win fights.

                  His resume is paper thin.

To boost it, Fury fanatics are NOW rating Wilder to be an ATG, when just prior to their 1st fight, he was nothing hut a bum

                  How perceptions change when needed

Fury isn't overrated, he's just being used by many undercover racists as s stick to beat AJ with.
Fury has exceeded all expectations and I'm glad he done wilder like that.

His antics in other areas are what make me lose respect for him but that means jack all.

I disagree with the principle for the simple fact that Fury has earned everything. HE is the one who ended Klitschko's reign, and he is the one who went to the USA to beat the undefeated Wilder in only his 3rd fight back from retirement and being morbidly obese - in other words the 2 current best wins at HW both belong to Fury.

The undefeated Wilder counts because he was made out to be great, even though we don't know how he'd fair against any number of AJ's opposition (we can't just 'assume' Wilder is better than Parker, Ruiz, Whyte, Povetkin, Pulev etc.).

Who is the best HW is still open for discussion and always has been since Fury and then AJ beat Wlad. Those two have to fight, and if Tyson wins then he can retire as an ATG - not p4p#1 or whatever - but simply as one of the greats. Undefeated, took out the '3' best fighters of 2 eras, did so after retirement and physical/mental sickness when no-one thought it was possible.

I know history is soon forgotten, but does anyone here remember that the thought of Tyson Fury coming back was considered delusional and the believers would be mocked? There was no way in hell he was coming back, and if he did he'd never be close to world level again. Then in just his 3rd fight he steps up to face an undefeated king in his own castle.

Fury is a unique one in many ways, hoping he beats AJ to complete the story!
