Awful matchup for jr. Only way he can win is if plant somehow gasses badly.

Jr only does well agaisnt guys that stand infront of him. Not to mention he isnt even a SMW. Shame, i wanted to see the charlo fight...

Plant's my guy but I wanted to see Eubank/Charlo as it seems they were on the path to making the fight late last year and early this year.

Plant would pretty much has his way with Eubank at 168. Though he's fought there in 2017 and 2018, I don't believe 168 was his best weight. Maybe he had more opportunities at 160 rather than 68. Who knows.

Thoughts on this rumored match up? It was well known that Eubank Jr was going to fight either Charlo or Plant next.

Personally, this seems like a terrible match up for him. Plant should box his ears off but let's see how good Plant's gas tank is. Got a little tired against Uzcategui towards the end of the fight.

Eubank excels with aggression.

If he doesn't bring that, it's a repeat of Eubank/Saunders and Eubank/Groves - deer in the headlights for 7 rounds before stepping it up.

That's the ONLY thing wrong with the dude. Besides that he's got the best entrance in the boxing business today.

I’ve only seen him hurt by Groves, he got dropped too which never got counted.

Groves was a serious puncher though. Even had Froch all over the place like we had never seen. Martin Murray said Groves power was far bigger than GGG in terms of single right hand shots. Everyone who faced Groves said his power was real though.

Plant won’t really hurt Eubank, but has the style to outbox him for sure. If Eubank has no respect for his power, it’ll be a great fight.

Not a fan of Eubank Jr but his workrate is elite. If Plant can’t get him out of there early - he can nick it.

Eubank’s chin is elite also and plant will never get Eubank out of there early or late it’s just I hope Eubank has improved as he has/ had so much potential. Would have liked to see him campaign at 160 so he can be the bigger man because with his workrate and chin he would be a problem
