Thoughts on this rumored match up? It was well known that Eubank Jr was going to fight either Charlo or Plant next.

Personally, this seems like a terrible match up for him. Plant should box his ears off but let's see how good Plant's gas tank is. Got a little tired against Uzcategui towards the end of the fight.

Eubank brings a lot of pressure and work rate though, and even in the fight where Plant won the title, there was times later in the fight where Uzcategui looked like he might get to him.

My thoughts exactly. Plant is getting ready for a showdown with Benavidez so he needs to get in there with someone who will have a good work rate for 12 rounds and never stop coming. Plant did have a few shaky moments at the end against Uzcategui, in otherwise a really good performance. Let's see if he is better fighting for 12 rounds now than he was then.

Not a fan of Eubank Jr but his workrate is elite. If Plant can’t get him out of there early - he can nick it.

Eubank is tough. However he needs to be technically sound versus Plant. He will have to cut ring off and work behind jab to head and body. Plant will make him look silly for awhile, but he must be consistent in his pressure and combination punching.
