He beat klitchko before joshua and basically beat wilder every round except the 12th of their first fight.. so what are you talking about lol

Hes fought two of the 3 better heavyweights In the last what..? 10 years?

The way I see it is that both AJ and Fury will be stepping up levels when they face each other.
Well he was out of commission for a long while..

But yes his style is a nightmare. I like AJ a lot, he seems like a solid fighter but dude has no quit. Hes been willing to fight even after massive kds and fight well. I just dont see how he could handle a guy fury size with his skill level

Oh yeah if Fury said it then it’s the gospel truth. I feel so confident now like the charities still waiting for him to donate his fight purse or Dillian Whyte even being promised a fight for the Diamond belt

        AJ is too basic
Can't argue with what you're saying. But the Matchroom casuals are back in action, so the fight will create a lot of hype and there will be many who don't see it for what it is. Good hype, good money maker, will be a good win on paper for Tyson Fury, and the event will be massive.

The main issue for me is that AJ has become a very predictable fighter, seems scared to get hit after the Ruiz loss. He isn't an unpredictable fighter, doesn't have the same danger that Deontay Wilder has. Once Tyson starts outboxing him and backing him up, what does he do? His recent "epic boxing ability" would be totally negated by the Gypsy King.

If they do fight Fury then they are cashing out. It doesn't have to be negative though, it is also a roll of the dice. AJ has less chance than Wilder, but there is still the tiniest chance he could catch Fury with a big right hand... gotta give the casuals some hope.

There cannot be any more excuses not to make this fight happen within 12 months from either guy TBH.
Good points . My view on it is Fury is tough to pin down. Mentally is in a good place though now . He's a bit wild in part linked to his bi polar ,his tough gypsy heritage and also some of it is him. Joshua seems good as well in this department. The way he beat Klitschko shows that. Likewise anyone who gets to the top of their profession as in the case of Fury/Joshua have something there.

Technically I think Fury is better. Slicker for one .

Physically I think Joshua maybe a bit stronger though that is lessened a bit by Furys speed, height and reach advantage.

All I know I think its going to be massive. Cant wait.

Cautious but effective. No risk of being hit but still got big shots away. He’s still improving. Don’t under estimate folk, Pulev is no mug

Joshua is a very good fighter but Fury has a vicious, mean streak in him that Joshua is somewhat lacking. Fury seems like the type of guy that you can drop and hurt him, but his heart and will power make him get back up from the canvas and fight back even harder. That kind of mentality will be terrifying for Joshua if him and Fury get into a grueling battle. I think Fury has a BIG edge in that department. You never know with 100% certainty what will happen in these kind of fights but I would definitely lean towards a Fury win....Maybe even a stoppage win. I have doubts about Joshua's stamina and will....especially against a psycho like Fury.
Joshua did used to have a mean streak and spite in him 'But it seems to have took a back seat somewhere, Joshua is still recovering from the Ruiz Junior experience'.

Look at Joshua's demeanor from when he fought Whyte and Kiltschko until now 'He is fighting through some issues'.

To his credit, he is working through his issues center stage. His demeanor when infront of violence has completely changed etc

Am expecting a competitive fight. Two guys that have massive respect for each other, a fight that wouldn’t pick up steam until the 5th round onwards. And am expecting Fury to get a UD or stop AJ late after he slows down/gas out.

It still shocks me how fickle sports fans are... You really are only ever as good as your last performance.

Fury getting to Wilder was genius, he had built up his 'hardest punch ever' rep but was there to be exposed - he makes mistakes kids are told off for. Yet he still came within a whisker of sparking Fury clean out. But he didn't, and the second fight said it all. I don't say that to put Fury down but to add some perspective.

For someone built up to be a HW Pernell Whitaker, Fury gets tagged in basically every fight.

Joshua has flaws, but can punch and can box. He's also shown he's willing to go in the trenches.

I predict Fury builds a healthy lead and makes Joshua miss, more similar to his Wlad performance than Wilder... But unlike Wlad, Joshua will then drag Fury into a war.

I don't really see what's not to love about this situation - and all for the undisputed HW championship!

I honestly think if they sign up for this fight Fury will have AJ beaten and mentally broken long before a punch is thrown . He'll get inside his head and mess him up . Then on fight night AJ will be bamboozled , beaten down and knocked out

My opinion for ages has been that assuming both are at their best on the night Fury wins via UD, AJ might take 3-4 rounds if he turns up the aggression.

Then again, Fury can be inconsistent. Sometimes he looks like a top 5 all time head to head HW, other times he gets dropped by Steve Cunningham, loses (unofficially) to domestic level McDermott and almost gets stopped on a cut by Otto Wallin. So on that basis you just never know. AJ is not a good opponent to have an off night against.
