If Morris can find a way to squeeze money out of a fight he will. He's a slippery crook wanker.

Boxing fans care, it's the people with influence in the boxing industry that let them get away with it.

Which is why it’s insane to make a wba unification into a wbc fight.

You're talking about an organisation that stripped their champion and made him a franchise champion for life. Then transferred the belt when he lost.

WBC should be considered an irrelevance now. Their belt is a trinket. It's not important.

I’m not defending the move but who else should fight for their belt? Benavidez lost the belt on the scales and Smith is the best 168 lber out there. While Canelo is a p4p fighter so if not them than who should be fighting for the belt?

I’m not sure. All I know for a fact is Smith is better than whoever is ranked #1 by the WBC. I know that for sure.

That would be Benavidez. I'd pick him to beat Smith

WBC bends over back wards for the golden gooses of boxing. At the moment Canelo is the face of boxing and for the WBC, Las Vegas, networks and even mexico he can’t lose because all of those mentioned will take a hit $$$.

Mayweather got the same treatment but even better. Wilder was getting all this love from the WBC because he was the face of US boxing until Fury destroyed him.

Boxing is trash man. It’s just about narratives and the sport aspect left along time ago. It’s not a sport it’s just strictly business and that’s crap. No boxing fan should be happy about the finances of promoters, networks and sanctioning bodies, instead root for the sport

Until I see him make weight I’m not counting him.
