Everything Anthony Joshua does and says is FAKE

The latest example is the “dust up” with Pulev at the weight in.

When asked about it, he was all smiles and had no idea why they were even heated.

Please lose again Anthony, we’re all sick of seeing someone play heavyweight champion on TV.

I'd rather not agree but I do. I think he has a lot of doubts about himself. I don't dislike AJ but I've never warmed to him.

He faked all his wins? That's a hell of an achievement.

              And here’s the problem.

              Why should I celebrate mediocrity?

              Greatness is rare.

I will Teofimo Lopez, because he dared to be great and pulled it off.

I’m not celebrating every boxer that a promoter invents because I love boxing so much I don’t have standards.

You don’t have to have standards. I’m sure your life will feel very fulfilled when you can celebrate living in cow dung the way a sane person would celebrate living in a palace.

I don’t really get what you mean? The weigh in drama could have been manufactured but how is everything else he does fake?

                Like what?

                Are all the fights staged?

The thread is about how someone acts fake.

It’s not about how everything in boxing is fixed.

It’s shocking I have to explain this.

Of course it is. He’s also a very different man away from the cameras.

Hearn has said himself that Matchroom fighters are expected to act a certain way because they have corporate sponsors backing the company and events. They’re all pretty much media trained and devoid of character, especially the ones Hearn signs from the start of their career. That’s why all the Olympians he gets are super boring, because they have to be and they get JD endorsements from the start etc.

Even Billy Joe Saunders is generally more “professional” since signing with them, except that one joke video about wife beating.
