AJ i have no real beef with him...but he does seem contrived...and like a fake tough guy.....i cant blame him for this but it does seem like his fans were so embarrassed by losing to ruiz and how he had to beat him in the rematch they thought wilder getting stopped by fury somehow erased that...

If he is the champ 80,000 people will watch AJ in a post covid world regardless. Or tens of thousands would follow him to the US if a worthy opponent was there. The fans on here that get emotional are not the bulk of AJ's fan base. His real core support are mainly people that will just go for the 'event' and have a casual interest in big time boxing.

They feel It is good that he is a Brit but if he got splattered they'll live, lol. I know people who went to the New York fight. They didnt care that he lost particularly. Similarly the same lads went to Germany to see Haye get shutout by Wlad years ago. It's just lads on tour really. The result is incidental.

But I can see he is embarrassed by Ruiz. Even heard him say that he would knock Ruiz out now.

So I do think there js a chip on his shoulder now. His psyche defo took a big hit.

Whether you would perceive that as acting tough or not it has always been there.

AJ has been riled up in the past even by mild mannered Parker.
