Wasn’t his fault that the contract was a bad deal for dazn as canelo didn’t generate the amount of subscriptions to justify 35 plus mil per fight.
Trout was a good, close fight. Canelo scored the KD to edge it.
Lara was an awful fight and most qualified observers (link i provided) had Canelo winning or a draw...small minority had Lara stealing it.
Canelo beat Cotto anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5 depending on what you like.
Canelo still gets the most buys - no question. GBP and DAZN are clueless at marketing. They couldnt give away food at a soup kitchen...if you think it was Canelo...which GBP/DAZN fighter has been well promoted. Name one lmfao

Most felt his fights with trout and cotto were at least competitive and some judges in those 2 fights scored it a blowout. With Lara, some had both guys winning but 1 judge again saw a blowout somehow. And If you want to go by press row scores as you did for the Lara fight , an overwhelming majority had him losing both fights with ggg. Even the second fight that was closer, only 2 of 50 press row cards had him winning yet 2 of 3 official judges had him win winning and did so by giving him the 12th round which almost everyone else had him losing. Canelo gets the benefit of the doubt from judges more so than any boxer I’ve ever seen. Period.

It feels like they screwed De La Hoya over much like Haymon and Schaefer did.
I'm pulling for Oscar to get back up and rebuild once again. So he can stick it to all the slimy f*cks who are trying to destroy him and what he has built.

The ***er that screwed Alvarez relationship w/ Oscar was Eddie Hearn. He said it, it was weors that he is fighting the guy that the DAZN didn’t approved before? Maybe Alvarez goes by the fact, that now he doesn’t have to share his profit with a promoter? The fact os wheather we like Oscar or not, he did made Canelo in the states.
