I'm not even sure Ryan can have success at 147 or higher to gain legit boxing superstar status.

I've been saying & am still saying Vergil is the man GBP should be pushing harder than they are. He's the most talented guy on the roster now. He's just not as good with the SM stuff as a lot of these next gen guys.
I just said he just needs to keep up with the top guys. He just needs to build up a respectable resume to go with his popularity.

People hate him, he would make tons of money

I think it's shady as hell how DAZN wouldn't approve of Callum Smith as a premier opponent when he was with Golden Boy, but now that the Alvarez-GBP relationship has been severed Callum Smith is suddenly all good.

It feels like they screwed De La Hoya over much like Haymon and Schaefer did.

I'm pulling for Oscar to get back up and rebuild once again. So he can stick it to all the slimy f*cks who are trying to destroy him and what he has built.

People don't hate him. People love him. He's got almost 8M followers on IG.

Boxing folks hate him. But we are a small minority of the folks that know him that feel that way.

That said I don't think its a easy road that Ryan becomes a boxing superstar. 1)He's gonna have to get his non-boxing fans to pay for boxing sh^t &/or 2)He's gonna have to win the fights to get boxing fans to quit hating him. Its a fine line he'll need to walk to get max impact with all that & idek if Oscar is fully a believer in bringing his non-boxing fans money to boxing yet or that he can win the fights to get respect.

This Luke fight is huge in saying where Ryan is & where he can go to me.

I'd love to know the true backstory to all this Canelo/GBP/DAZN drama. Thats a book for me to dork out on if someone finds out the details & writes it at some future date. Or a Athletic article series that finally gets me subbing to those cats.

That's what I meant..... And people gonna hate him anyway.... Watch after this fight, he has the pretty boy social media stigma. They will continue to hate him and will translate into money.

And u saying basically what I said lol

I don't even think GBP has fallen, even without Canelo, even if Garcia leaves next. Oscar should stay level mentally and carry on. I think GBP is still solid with all the other OK/good fighters that it currently has.

Carry on workmanlike, Oscar. Good luck.

Fully agreed if garcia blast campbell avenges any losses along way through 147 his ceiling is higher than canelo which is saying alot. Ortiz should get more push put in a crawford position yet i think would fight better opps that em. Munia ? Could def promote put in there vs sadly ggg (for old and shot ) get the belt and wing it building call out cashout rivally vs spence or canelo . also spend $ on legit young heavyweight Ivan Dychko cash out in 4yrs after developed promoted well lure another young heavy like flip hrgovic then we talking gbp the face of boxing for 5-10 more yrs meaning if making fights and making the $ well others will sign or be developed. If wanna really spend $ sign crawford 4 fight deal 3rd fight a spence cash out with rematch clause but 1st fight either garcia from pbs 2nd fight a warm up for spence. Put ortiz on same card to build hype for eventual clash and or just help promote ortiz the future. Sign medalist from olympic world and continental games .
