Pump the brakes Ortiz. As promising and skilled as he is, he’s not ready for an opponent of that magnitude. He still needs time to develop and get that experience.

So let's make Ortiz instead, he has a belt. Removes that excuse
Ortiz doesn't hold a world title. The gold belt is a step below that. Ugas has the "regular" world title. Crawford should fight Ugas because that could make him Mandatory for Pacquiao. It will also be interesting because a unified WBA champion is generally elevated to "super" champ and Pacquiao is already "super" champ. Gotta love the WBA.

Def not an easy fight for bud and way to much for no reward. Ortiz doesnt isnt known to the mainstream last thing crawford is aiming for is a fight vs a livebody with no name or belt. If lose to ortiz all the milking was for no reason .Crawford needs a fan base only fights worth making for crawford is vs top 10 opponents with a name and thats live body porter thurman either garcia. Ugas to big a risk in size talent for the reward n crawfords proven to take easiest routes at welterweight. Im thinking somehow theyll lure mikey garcia before they realistically consider porter.. At 22 for ortiz though imagine welterweight in 3-4 yrs when ryan garcia teflo n haney are there with possible tank davis at 140 (stature to short and stout/stubby to keep making 135) he be at 140 very soon his max weight class cause size and style where he would still be good. For he doesnt hold at 147

And we found out that Keef did NOT ask for $10 million, he never gave a number, he asked what they're willing to start negotiations with and BoMac ran to Twitter with a lie.

Both of those are straight up ducks, bro.

And I'm only going to say this one more time.

Crawford has not earned a shot at either Manny or Spence. He needs to clearly beat Keef, Danny, Virgil Ortiz, Ugas, or Porter first. He needs to prove his 'eye test' against someone that isn't a walking dead! Hell, even Mikey Garcia. Or Josesito! SOMEONE!

Ortiz's Gold belt is a world title. And WBA removed Ugas from their list for some reason.

Crawford said he wants belts. It's a belt.

If he refuses to fight Ortiz that's just more smoke and mirrors. We need to STOP finding excuses for this guy.

Go ahead DeLahoya, destroy this kids career. Bud will kill Virgil right now. How about have Virgil fight a live top 10 dog instead of the bums he’s fought.

Change the name, it still works.

Slow your roll youngster. You are great and I think you will be the man at 147 eventually (keyword Eventually). let yourself mature int that divison dont try to rush your destiny. My advice for these Mexicans/Hispanic fighters is to take a page out the black fighters page book.

Mexican/Hispanic fighters always seem too eager to jump head in first to challenges taking any handicap to make it happen and 9 out of 10 times it backfires and all they accomplish is making their oppenent stock better (usually a black fighter too i.e LSC to Tank, Mikey to Spence, Marquez to Mawyeather, Canelo to Mayeather) and black fighters play the boxing game where they wait fighters out and get them when the time is right where they can aside them (tank brought up LSC before that he was gonna make his name off mares, spence benefited from Mikey being delusional, Mawyeather catch-weighted Marquez, Mayweather catch-weighted Canelo etc). I think there would be alot more great Mexican/Hispanic fighters if they followed that blueprint, the black fighters blueprint of just cooling down your eagerness for greatness and let that road pave itself, let those opportunities show themselves and take advantage of it. Of course theirs anomalies to this but general rule of thumb this is the normal way boxing plays out.

Crawford will duck this fight. He has a glass jaw.

Ortiz knocks this faggot out cold Gatti/Gamache style.
