He wanted the money and it was a MEGA fight. It brought more money than Oscar vs May. Vergil vs Crawford is not MEGA.

Both of those are straight up ducks, bro.

And I'm only going to say this one more time.

Crawford has not earned a shot at either Manny or Spence. He needs to clearly beat Keef, Danny, Virgil Ortiz, Ugas, or Porter first. He needs to prove his 'eye test' against someone that isn't a walking dead! Hell, even Mikey Garcia. Or Josesito! SOMEONE!

Ortiz's Gold belt is a world title. And WBA removed Ugas from their list for some reason.

Crawford said he wants belts. It's a belt.

If he refuses to fight Ortiz that's just more smoke and mirrors. We need to STOP finding excuses for this guy.
I rather see Spence vs Crwaford than Porter vs Crawford. Crawford just destroyed the guy who beat Porter.

Neither was Lopez vs. Loma, but a "mega" star was born! Also, I have no doubt that ESPN will make this a BIG deal! This is definitely bigger than Crawford vs. Horn! What I do wonder about Oscar is, if he's willing to let Vergil fight Crawford, why not let him fight WBA #5 Rashidi Ellis?

          Fixed it for you.

Now, let's see him against a PRIME, LARGELY UNDAMAGED OPPONENT that would be a threat.

Porter's at the top of that list. But again, I'm fine if he fights Virgil Ortiz.

Ortiz jr. throwing to Crawford, Thurman, Porter or Spence would be worse than Joyce -Dubois.

All these guys are experienced, Ortiz jr. is unexperienced and young. he would probably quit.

When did the guy beat Porter? Was that before he nearly went blind fighting GGG and got a beating from Spence?

He says this because with PBC there is next to a zero chance he gets a fight with anyone. Sad that the kid can’t build properly from the top 10 at welterweight and has to go from Orozco-Solomon-Vargas to Crawford.

My point is, we have to STOP using "he young doe" as an excuse to discourage young fighters that want to step up and take risks.

Virgil Ortiz is a champion, too. I know it's convenient for NSB to disregard his belt, but he has a belt. Crawford claims to only want belts. So fight Ortiz and take his belt if you can.

But if Ortiz beats Crawford, it IS Teofimo all over again.

The winner would have two belts and have clearly earned a shot at Spence.

Why NSB is so down on that is mind boggling, but people aren't really fans anymore anyway.
