Angel didnt tell Top Rank anything. Thats just what Angel and Danny panhandle for anyone to listen. The truth is Angel was contacted directly and he listened but never replied.

Al Haymon is NOT a promoter. No PBC fighter needs Haymon to make ANY fight. Those fighters CHOOSE to use Haymon on a fight-by-fight basis.

If you remember in 2019 Danny was posturing for rematches with Porter and Thurman after close decision losses to both. His choices were:

Fighting and beating the #1/#2 PFP Terrence Crawford who was undefeated across 3 weight divisions and 1 of 2 lineal unified champs in the past 10 years...for a CAREER HIGH PAYDAY plus PPV split and main event recognition

Or

Fighting Adrian Granados on basic cable for $1m flat

Which choice earned him more $$?

Which choice earned him rematches with Porter or Thurman?

Which choice demonstrated strength?

Yeah, Danny/Angel took the other choice.

And if youre gonna say, well Angel said to call his Daddy Al. . .as if Danny ever wanted the fight.

Danny passed om career high payday

Danny passed on chance to be main event in PPV showdown

Danny passed on legitimate chance to earn a rematch with either Porter or Thurman

Danny stayed QUIET during all of this because...a duck is a duck

And if you STILL blame Crawford for not securing the Danny fight then YES, you got too much dick up in your Kool-Aid

at this point i wouldnt mind seeing crawford fight up and comers like ortiz or ennis next if he doesn't fight porter or one of the pbc guys

atleast it's a step up from fighting washed up khan and the shell of kell brook, and i say this as a big crawford fan

Usually guys are criticized for fighting "up and comers." I don't think that would be the case for Crawford, if he fought Ortiz Jr. because Vergil is not with PBC, and Vergil is ranked #2!

Umm Brook was pretty good. Dont know who wins between those two prime for prime or even if they fought today.
