It was Al and Richard who were keeping GBP alive while Oscar was doing lines and trying on women's lingerie in a hotel room. His fighter fight under the fear that he could relapse at any damn time. That's not a good look for the founder of a major company. I never once heard a negative word about Al from any of his fighters.

And you already know what that's all about. I had to explain to some character on FB that PBC wasn't going anywhere and Dana White and Zuffa Boxing wasn't coming to "rescue" Al because Al is a Harvard business grad and doesn't need rescuing. I had to explain to some character on FB that PBC wasn't going anywhere and Dana White and Zuffa Boxing wasn't coming to "rescue" Al because Al is a Harvard business grad and doesn't need rescuing. Those are facts. Funny this is I was never a big Floyd fan like that, but loved seeing him remain undefeated because I knew how much it pissed these types off. I even met a few West Indians who hated Floyd because they felt he was "too arrogant" and "didn't know his place". You be surprised how much hatred there is in this world for the American BM. i hear that....and its wild....what i also really hate is people who hate on arrogant people...not everyone has the same personality type...and it would be a boring world if everyone were the same....i mean really imagine it....everyone acts absolutely the same and everything is vanilla...i dunno...it doesnt work for me...i like some flair.....yes a little humility goes a long way i get that...i believe arrogant people will be humbled...im arrogant to a fault..ive been humbled by life many times too.....i think its ok to be proud(i know im going to sound like a trump 'proud boy' lol)....

the thing with floyd is...i dont believe hes a saint or perfect...but hes not as bad as some want to make him out to be...that whole thing with his babys mother josie? i dont condone hands on women...but people underestimate the lengths women will go to in order to get revenge or get under someones skin...i dont know the full story...but women can act out too and push buttons...im sure she wasnt an angel either...but at the end of the day floyd worked to provide for her kids and took care of her..and when she died he honored her(if i recall correctly).......ive heard stories from people who sat near floyd at fights many years ago before he was really, really, big...and they all said he was super cool and loved to talk about the fight game with anyone......there was one fight i remember seeing him in the crowd at and he was out of his seat throwing punches into the air when the action was fierce and he was loving it.....this guy spent his whole life in this sport and he loves it and knows it.....

I don't think Floyd is a bad guy considering the horrible stuff he grew up around. People don't realize how traumatic it is when a small child sees some of the stuff he saw growing up. In light of that, it's amazing he made it as far as he did. I don't think I'd want my daughter dating him if I had one, but I don't think he's as bad as "some folks" make him out to be.

yup...ryan and oscar already had a public spat on social media not too long ago...and oscar lost the biggest prize in boxing....yet some still think al haymon did him dirty or something...or schaeffer did.....lol...meanwhile golden boy was alive and doing very well under schaeffers watch with haymon

Oscar is no saint. But Haymon and Schaeffer did do him dirty.

Both things can be true.

To this day Haymon's entire roster consists mostly of former GBP fighters.
