His dad is just talking. Spence already said right after the fight, the next fight will be sometime in the summer. Typically, it’s 6-7 months between fights in this current boxing period. So that’s around June or July. Another 6-7 months is December again. Spence will have 2 fights at the most in 2021.

To fight 3 times, Spence would have to go every 4 months, April, August, & December, not impossible. Spence actually fought 4 times in 2015. In 2015, Spence fought Samuel Vargas in April, Phil Lo Greco in June, Chris van Heerden in September, and Alejandro Barrera in November. Actually Spence fought 5 times in a 12 month period if you throw in Chris Algeria in April 2016.

But I think his next fight which was reported all yesterday is Manny in the summer. If Spence does a tuneup fight in April, his trainer wants him back in the gym in 3 weeks, then he fights Manny in August and then fights maybe Thurman or Bud in December, that’s 4 fights.

Ah yes....let me guess....he'll finally give in and fight Thurman....he'll rematch Shawn Porter...then if Ugas is still in the mix he'll fight Ugas....and you can mix and match any of those guys with Pacquiao even though I don't think Spence is gonna get a Pacquiao fight.

Humor me this ......has ANYONE that crawford has fought at 147 have the moern credentials of Garcia? Garcia? Porter? Seriously, Brook is the closest thing, but brook hasn't been BROOK since getting destroyed by GGG and Spence.

Crawford should buy out the remainder of his contract or negotiate out of it, and move on to Dibella, Pbc, or matchroom. Arum has already publicly 💩 on him so....might as well.

Spence/Pacquiao next along with Crawford/Porter, Thurman/Ugas, Virgil Ortiz/Boots Ennis. Those are the fights that SHOULD be made next in the Welterweight division.

PBC is the only co. Crawford can sign too. They provide the most comp and $$. Other than that u I agree with the rest of what u said.

Dad said "He'd like to" see him fight 3 times in 2021. I bet he's in his ear with subtle encouragement, trying to keep him from having too much 'idle' time. Realistically, I'd say for money and health, Spence has about 8 fights left over 5yrs.

Crawford offered Danny Garcia a career high payday and Danny fought ... Adrian Granados instead.

But Danny was a good, qualified opponent for Spencer...?

Crawford is trying to make the fight but I dont think Errol wants it :-/

Danny Garcia is WW contender and a top 5 WW the last couple of years. He is much better than Khan, Brooks or any guy Crawford has fought at 147.

That said and to your point, at this point, there is absolutely no reason or obstacle for Crawford-Spence to NOT fight each other next.

Crawford has been vocal about saying he don’t need Spence. Crawford has not had a meaningful fight at 147. Maybe it’s not his fault as you say but him and Spence must fight next year.

I personally believe Crawford doesn’t seem to want that fight based on what he keeps saying but I don’t doubt his skills. In fact if they do get to fight I have that fight at a dead even toss up. I’m still going to lean towards Spence to get a split decision or majority decision.

I think it's Errol who doesn't want the fight. Crawford is simply tired of calling for it.
