it's unfair how a talented boxer with a work ethic like him has to box on a crappy promotion to get by, whilst a guy like danny jacobs cons his way to riches without breaking a sweat and still wont get turfed out by eddie.

I thought Hearn wanted to put Hunter in with Hrgovic NEXT? I have never seen Shawn Laughery (10-3 Which is decent,seems a downgrade from Hrgovic) but his record seems a downgrade from Hrgovic, really disappointed in Hearn, but Hearn Said he Wants Vergil Ortiz Jr to fight Danivar Yeleussinov NEXT which makes me EXTREMELY HAPPY (I hope Hearn puts it on the Ryan Garcia VS Luke Campbell card.

It’s unfair ? He chose to take easy fights and he’ll probably get dropped down a few spots shortly fighting these guys then complain no one wants to fight him ,like Parker did who fought absolutely no one for 2 years now .

no you moron, he's game to fight anyone..but he isnt marketable so is left picking up scraps on a random promotion.
he's taking this fight because he has nothing else.

Promotional free agent so he is not going to have the financial backing of a good promoter. He is staying busy & in shape just incase he gets a call for a big fight. There are people who think he is ducking a fight but his hands are tied at the moment. He is in striking distance of a title shot with another big win or 2 so he is going to wait for the right offer. I can’t blame him as he has no fanbase. He reminds me of Kevin Johnson before he went into collect a check/travel the world journeyman mode. Hunter won’t get many title shots handed to him. He will have to earn them the old fashion way buy winning eliminators. His only eliminator ended in a draw with Povetkin.

Hearn had no say in who Ortiz fights, he’s with GBP. That’d be a nice matchup though!

That’s a lie ,he signed on to Impact network t.v which is basicly for up and comers to stay active and gets platform to showcase themselves it’s not for top ten fighters . He chose to avoid Hrgovic and not fight him when Hrgovic team contacted him about the fight but instead said he was busy flighting already hand picked guys which makes very little sense when the network he is in allows fighters to go elsewhere because they do not sign exclusive rights to any fighter as it’s not even a sports network more then a religious one . He doesn’t have any choices ,o.k,sure he doesn’t . Ha

if he's fighting hrgovic he needs a tune up first, surely? he hasnt fought since saudi. hrgovic has had his tune up.
