Yeah was going to add this. Kind of similar love/hate relationship that Floyd and Ali have. A lot of people tuned in to see Ali get beat, just like with Floyd. I think even those who disliked him found him more entertaining and amusing than Floyd, though. My dude, Ali was despised as a draft dodger and a ******. He wasn't beloved by any means when he was fighting Inoki. He was incredibly polarizing. He was well liked by part of the nation but hated by the rest.
Not until much later on in life was he genuinely revered.
Floyd really played the 'bad guy' persona very well.Comment

We need something to deflect from how disinterested the general public is in overhyped euros. You can't pay people to watch GGG, Loma, or Fury, but it's exhibitions that are killing the sportComment

Ah. The Floyd p.ussy crowd shows up right on cue.
"Ow. My p.ussy hurts. Don't talk bad about my man"
Did Ali hurt the sport like Floyd did and turn it into the circus it is today? Fat chance. Oh theres a reason but it can't be Floyd because you can't criticize him. Hes perfect like his record. 50-0.

Exactly how does Floyd doing an exhibition hurt the sport? Did Floyd/Conor hurt the sport as well? If exibitions hurt the sport why didn't Ali/Inoki hurt the sport?Ah. The Floyd p.ussy crowd shows up right on cue.

Ali was hated by damn near everyone AT ONE POINT in his career. It wasn't anywhere close to the time of Anoki fight doe. Ali was loved by most in 76.My dude, Ali was despised as a draft dodger and a ******. He wasn't beloved by any means when he was fighting Inoki. He was incredibly polarizing. He was well liked by part of the nation but hated by the rest.

I don't doubt some still hated him from a decade before but I feel like they were a tiny minority by the exhibition friendly period of Ali's career.Comment

Just the kind of low IQ response I'd expect from you.
Before I waste my time let me ask you one super simple question that you should be able to understand.
Is this an apples to apples comparison? NO
NOT EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST.
So let me ask you a question Big Dunn so I can see how much of my time you feel like wasting today.
What exactly is Floyd "exhibiting " against a legit nobody?
Another question for you.
Does your p.ussy hurt?Comment

I don't think anyone should have a problem with exhibitions, they've been going on long before Ali even. I can't fault Floyd for picking up some easy paydays here and there. So long as they remain exhibitions and not sanctioned fights. I think most fans were peeved that his fight with Conor was sanctioned for a 50th win, that should have been an exhibition.Comment
