Muhammad Ali had exhibitions vs Pro Wrestlers and Athletes

Because Floyd fights by outpointing, outsmarting, and outboxing his opponents, including these exhibitions... casuals don't want that sht. They want what Ali did, beat the sht out of his opponents, make a fool out of them, while trying to knock them out. Different kind of killer instinct.Comment

Like I said Big Dunn. Only someone with such a small capacity, low IQ like you would think that your solution is the only answer to the question. You don’t seem to be able to articulate how Floyd has hurt the sport.
You made the claim, you should be able to tell us why and how.
The fact you didn’t answer the question but called me names suggests you can’t back your point up with anything rational or coherent.
It’s an exhibition. As with any exhibition in any sport he will be participating in the sport but it will not count for anything official. No different than an exhibition in football or basketball in the preseason.
Now how exactly is Floyd hurting the sport? Did Ali/inoki hurt the sport? Did Floyd/Conor hurt the sport?
If so, please explain why.
Maybe.
Mayyybe I have a good answer but I don't care to waste my time giving you that answer because
1). Youre gonna hug Floyds nuts because you live through him. Hes perfect, you can't criticize him at all.
2) You make everything about race and how people hate you guys so much.
3) You're too ******, despite probably living through that era, to understand the differences between then and now. Ahem things like the internet!
Did Ali/Ionoki hurt the sport? Nope.
Did Mayweather vs X? Yep
Like, how was boxing after Ali? Pretty successful right?
Ahem, but why dont we see the best fights made anytime soon? Oh? Because some guy took a tactic to the extreme and broke the game.
You've been conned by the biggest con in boxing and that says nothing about his talent. People like you are so pathetic with how hurt you get when it comes to Floyd.
Is Floyd ya daddy? Does he care for you?
Best question of all that you didnt answer buddy. What good comes from this exhibition? Does it make boxing better? Getting to see an old Floyd box a 0-1 youtube boxer. Is he doing it for boxing or himself. Are you supporting boxing or Floyd?
If you like garbage ass **** like that you might as well just rewatch some highlights or WWE.
But nah man. Only you have the right answer because you're so smart big Dunn. Your ******ity only shows your ignorance and how blind you really are.
Nah man. Floyd keep it up. This niche sport is doing so good because of you. Yeah Floyd, keep it relevant. It isn't an embarrassment at all.Comment

You post Ali/Inoki didn't hurt the sport because boxing was successful after the fight. Floyd hasn't fought Paul yet so we don't know what effect it will have on the sport. What if the exhibition leads to a renewed interest in the sport?
We can't tell if anything good will come of the fight because it hasn't happened yet. What is possibly a good thing is the way they are pricing it. COuld lower and change the PPV pricing in the future.
Floyd/Tenshin didn't prevent any promoter from making a particular fight. If you think it did, please explain how. That is all I am asking.
I support boxing. Floyd is making the exhibition to make money. Is there something wrong with a retired boxer making money in an exhibition? If so, was there an issue with Tyson/Jones?
I never posted I like exhibitions nor have I posted that I purchased Floyd/Tenshin or Tyson/Jones. I did order Floyd/Conor.
I've answered every question. Now can you tell us why you think Floyd exhibitions hurt the sport?Comment

This was an exhibition. It was also garbage and what did it accomplish? Did people watch it? Was it entertaining? No. No. No
It was nothing short of embarassing. Did it bring more people to boxing? Did it generate interest in boxing?
HELL NO
How about Mayweather vs Connor? Floyd and a Connor made a ton of money but did it help boxing? Did it generate interests and bring people to boxing in the long run?
HELL NO
UFC is become bigger since then and boxing less. Everyone all saw and knows now that a boxer will win in a boxing ring and a mixed martial artist will win in an octagon. The spectacular is GONE. Plus Floyd was fighting a UFC champion and who is Floyd fighting now? At what age?
Did it make boxing great?
Oh yeah Big Dunn. Boxing is so good now that boxers won't fight each other because they're so afraid to lose their ZERO and their marketability right? Compare to UFC.
Oh, boxers won't fight unless they are way overcompensated because everyone wants to be Floyd. Oh, is that helping boxing?
Worse part is you agree with me that these spectacles are garbage but you need to defend ya boy Floyd dont you even though you know the fight is garbage itself. You even sad so!
And you didn't answer **** Dunn. Like usual you talked around it and pretended you did.
Your problem is that I insulted your boy and I can't do that now can I?Last edited by R-Hand Southpaw; 12-08-2020, 12:49 PM.Comment

I didn't order it but some people did. The people in Japan did it to make money. It made money. You don't know if it brought fans to the sport in Japan. Did it bring fans to the sport in the US? I'm sure it didn't. But the exhibition wasn't in the US so I don't know why anyone would expect it to have that type of impact here.Floyd vs Tenshin

Yes it did help boxing. It's a boxing match that generated so much income that PBC used it to finance other cards. More to the point-the biggest star in MMA history made his most money in a boxing match, solidifying the fact that as big as MMA is, it isn't bigger than boxing. Note that the next biggest stars after Floyd-Manny and Canelo-are talking about fighting Conor and Masvidal in boxing matches. Boxing is winning.
If boxers aren't fighting each other, that is their responsibility. It isn't because Floyd is fighting exhibitions as a retired boxer.
Why does everyone want to be Floyd? It's because he was the best of his generation and because he went from small casinos to the biggest PPV star ever. Teo, who just won the biggest fight of the year, talked about how to be Floyd you have to actually follow what he did-perfect your craft, beat everyone and then you will earn the big money. What exactly is wrong with that?
I literally answered every question you asked. I don't agree that Floyd's exhibitions hurt the sport that is why I responded. I haven't' cared that you criticized floyd or called me names. I'm just asking you to explain your point in a coherent way.Comment
