Mayweather's put generations of blood sweat and tears in the game and still are. It's all good for their kid to enjoy without the heavy consequences the sport can bring. Floyd put in work too. The thing that's not to be admired is the violating on others he occasionally does to get paper. Not gonna pay for this put hope he puts a message boxing is more than swinging.

No doubt about it May changed boxing forever in some ways for the better but at the same time Floyd is a grimey ruthless hustler too,so he is more than willing to overshadow real fights & champs to benefit himself at all cost above all others. He is willing to drag boxing to the pit of hell if it makes him richer.(being intentionally melodramatic for effect)

Boxing is already on the verge of becoming a sideshow attraction more than a respectable sport.

Pretty soon all the top name non draw boxers will start fighting bums on YouTube & retiring from a actual boxing because it pays better to turn it into a circus like Floyds slowly doing. You now have everyone in every combat sport basically calling out this YouTube bum.

Nobody is forcing you to buy the PPV if you don't want to.

This is nothing like Ali v Inoki(I notice that gets thrown around a lot but its not) Ali vs Inoki was literally supposed to be a staged circus fight in Japan & Ali was supposed to practice with Inoki but he didn't because he didn't want a sideshow,& Inoki ended up being part responsible for Alis future conditions from there on due to the ankle/nerve/capillary damage Inoki ******ly inflicted by turning it into a travesty.(that fight was not a boxing match)& it didn't count on Alis resume like Mcgimper (& likely Paul)

Ali didn't start going on Tour selling ppvs vs Fans,the more frequently these fights keep happening & the more they sell, just you watch as they become what boxing is known for.

These fights will become whats sought after,& actual fights will continue to languish in obscurity like many top fights now do.

If people will pay to watch it, more power to them. I’ll watch it...not sure why it’s so offensive to some. Boxing is killing boxing, you want to be angry, be angry at the promoters and fighters who refuse to make the changes necessary to make boxing something greater than it is. If they won’t give the fans what they want, it creates a void that events like this or the Tyson thing will fill. Don’t cry for the Charlo’s, Spence, Crawford, Canelo, GGG, AJ, Fury, Wilder, etc. They have ample opportunity, this is on them.

You’d be crazy if you think fighters of different eras wouldn’t take 8-9 fig paydays to fight celebrities. They absolutely all would do this too.
