Bud probably trying to not end up like Mikey & not fight for 2yrs. I think you take a business approach with this & not an emotional approach.
If there is a reasonable buy out you should take it but if it's unreasonable I'd keep taking bs TR fights for $4M or whatever Bud's gtd is until I get offered a more reasonable buy out or just let go or the contract ends.
That said this legacy fight & legacy talk stuff is boxing fans bs. Bud & Errol don't need to do sh^t except make nice money & winning from their own point of view. Fans always on this your a bum bs if you lose any fight or don't fight that one guy. That's bs. Don't get me wrong I wanna see this fight & every big fight between top guys myself, but that's not how this sport is built & there isn't the same importance to legacy with most boxers as there is an importance on getting the most money you can to support yourself & the ones you love.
I mean think about it all y'all mfers calling boxers bums left n right aren't trying to be the best fast food worker in the world. Y'all just trying to get the most money from pizza hut you can while doing the least work while feeling like you are killing it. And some of y'all probably do make sh^t better & raise the pizza hut game, but everyone in their head thinks they are killing it & have to believe that at some level in a competitive sport like boxing.
The way Arum was talking, it looked like he would let him go pronto without conditions.

Bob is a bean counter promoter. He's not cutting anyone loose unless they **** someone, go on a shooting spree or lose one too many fights. Or in Mikey's case he's about to lose a lawsuit to a boxer.
I imagine Bob is frustrated with Bud & his team playing the business of boxing game better than he is right now more than Bob is gonna do something drastic like cut Bud loose.
I'd bet Bob ain't even lost money on Bud or if he has it's his fooking fault not Bud's.
Crawford is a live dog in the welterweight division with a title, so Spence should be worried about collecting that last title if he wants to truly be the big fish
I’ll tell you what Crawford was doing there. He wanted Als attention by making himself available for talks to ensue, that’s what Crawford was doing there. Taking care of business bc uncle Bob dissed him.
