I don’t think there is any question that Spence is the top ww in the world.

I don’t understand why posters are framing this like he’s only defeated Danny Garcia. He has other wins that reflect the status as well.

If your a REAL boxing fan and an objective one, you have to admit at WELTERWEIGHT....NOT ANY OTHER WEIGHT CLASS....Spence has the more impressive resume which makes him the top WW. BUD is still atop the P4P list based on his collective accomplishments BUT at WW, Spence is the man until BUD fights & beats at least 2 from Porter, Thurman, & Garcia.

Terence Crawford's goal has always been to unify, he got a belt like Spence demanded, whats the issue?

Spence shouldn't fight anyone who doesn't have a belt. Pac and then Crawford is his best route to taking all 147 belts. The rest should fight amongst themselves to stay relevant.

            Totality of performances.

PRIME Danny Garcia - Top 5 Welterweight

PRIME Shawn Porter - Top 5 Welterweight

Those two alone are quality AND two guys Crawford refused to fight.

But then you throw in PRIME Mikey Garcia, at the time Top 5 at 135.

Now, explain which Crawford opponents match any one of those?

Spence certainly turned in a dominant performance.

With that being said, it bothers me that both he and Terrence Crawford seem so content to not fight each other.

It reminds me of college football before the BCS that eventually became the playoffs. The experts and fans are left to argue about who’s #1 in “the polls” instead of the fighters settling it on “the field” to determine an undisputed champion

Oh I get it now. Crawfish wants to get a fight with spence by only fighting bums or guys with belts. So you admit he is ducking all the top contenders and only wants to fight spence.

I will tell you this. If crawfish left uncle bobby, Al would make the fight in a heartbeat. It's funny but toprank fighters always complain about being ducked until the leave, then they get the fights they want. Just ask Floyd and the others.

He has the best resume at 147 but we don't know who is the best until he fights Bud.

Yeah so Spence has the P4P number 1 fighter in his division but let's act like he doesn't have to beat him to prove he's the best in that same division?

This fight needs to happen period, it would settle maybe who is the best P4P fighter, and so who is the best WW.

Nobody knows until they fight, and that's the fight in boxing to be made.
People saying otherwise are not boxing fans.

Some of these Spence/Bud grupies act like they scared for their idol to fight the other guy.
