Yeah, didn't look like he had a chance overall... but at that moment he was doing that to show the ref he was still there, I thought successfully and he earned a bit more time . Not sure I agree with the stoppage

I can appreciate that take, but to me when things aren't competitive & a guy isn't doing very much offensive himself, before or during the time the ref is looking at him, I got no issue with a stoppage.

I'm for keeping it moving. Either get it in or get it moving to the next fight. This cat had nothing for Fundora & he needed to be showing more if he wanted to prove folks wrong tonight.
