    One thing is for sure many fighters choose to fight Oscar instead of Trinidad, Chavez being one of them. Whitaker also avoided fighting Trinidad, saying jokingly that he doesn’t fight country’s Referring to Tito’ last name. so he decides to fight him 2-3 years later. Tito was extremely high risk! Furthermore Oscar fought many of Trinidad’s leftovers (and Trinidad was knocking them out ugly with damaging effects )Tito’s leftovers;
    -Campas (was undefeated)
    -Obat Carr (was undefeated)
    -Fernando Vargas (was undefeated)
    -Mayorga

    As far as their fight is concerned, by the end of the 9th round, Oscar was winning the fight by a huge margin! But that doesn’t mean Oscar won ALL those rounds. Oscar had won at most 6 rds clearly ahead on the score cards. there was still 3 rds left & he decided to coast/ bicycle/run, NOT because corner man Gil Clancy said so, because he felt Tito hands & knew he was spent & didn’t want to risk getting drop nor ko’d. Tito was the stronger in the later rds. The Jude’s got it right, even the hbo crew who was *** riding Oscar, we’re also saying they wouldn’t want to be a judge... now why would they say that?

      Oscar by far

      Trinidad lone good "win" was a robbery vs Oscar. His wins past 147 were abysmal. Oscar was the better boxer/fighter and has better wins.

      Trinidad avoided a young Whitaker, avoided Quartey, and Mosley.

        You got t wrong, Whitaker avoided Tito. Quartey & Mosley? You gotta be Kidding! Tito would’ve dismantle any of them! Where are you getting that from?

          Wrong, Tito’s best win at 147 ;
          -Whitaker
          -Campas (W:55, L:0 50 ko
          Oba Carr (udefeated)
          Oscar (undefeated)

          Not bad...

            If you watch the DLHvsTrinidad fight, you can see where Trinidad connects a certain punch and DLH starts running for the rest of the fight afterwards...must’ve been some punch to make DLH drop his offense completely and run for the hills

                    Whitaker was coked up and way past his prime. De la Hoya beat a better version.

                    Campas and Carr were never great.

                    Come on now everyone knows Oscar was robbed.

                    Why did he duck Quartey, Mosley and Whitaker when Whitaker was at his best? Even a fight with Jose Luis Lopez would've been better than those.

                      I’m fine if we criticize odh for running like a f@g b1tch the last 4 rounds. Deserves every bit of criticism for that punk stuff. Gave away a victory and he has no one to blame but himself.

                      But that doesn’t erase rounds 1-8.

                      I was rooting hard for Tito but when that decision was announced I was surprised as hell.

                      I agree some wouldn’t fight Tito but that doesn’t erase all the dudes rolling pin dela higheels fought.

                      It pains me to say this believe me.
