Problem is both Saunders and Boo Boo are gonna suffer for lack of real quality opposition going in.
As much as that match-up needs to happen for both of them, IDK if I could stomach watching it. I didn't even watch BJS/Murray. I find BJS to be repelling, and his style doesn't mesh well with Andrade's at all. It's a bout I'd only watch after the fact, so I can skim through it if necessary.

Between this week and last week, the Friday night main events on DAZN were pretty lackluster. At least I got to see Tennyson KO another fighter.

Murray has always been a solid fighter who's toughness and soundness was his best attributes. His record in title fights hilights how hes good enough to beat everyone but the top tier.

Unfortunately, even in his prime I think BJS would have been a bad matchup.

5 weeks and as I’ve said before boxers of yesteryear fought weekly to every other week. He accepted so he must believe his body and conditioning is ready. Elite fighters are always championship ready.

I do agree there was a major overreliance on the jab with Isufi (at least how I remember it, I'm not exactly in a rush for to revisit that sleep aid of a shutout). I mean if you're going to square off against a farcical opponent basically engineered by WBO ranking sorcery for you to claim a belt at your new weight, at least put a spit shine on it and make it extra pretty with lots of combinations, something there was at least more of here against Murray. Bottom line, another case of BJ just doing exactly what was expected on paper against a given opponent. At least today he seemed like he was trying to make it eye pleasing.

As far as weight issues, it was satisfying to hear him casually confirm in one of Matchroom's behind the scenes clips for this fight what anyone who's seen an offseason picture of BJ in the last 5 years already knew, that he "stuffs himself with cakes" when not in camp. Unless he makes some kind of new year's resolution and commits to staying in more reasonable shape full time the fluctuations are going to be to his detriment and chip away at career longevity, assuming that hasn't already happened.

Everything Hearn said about Joe stepping up was right. Next year will define his career. Maybe he suffers some confidence issues? Either way, he needs to stay busy and take at least one elite fight next year. Most important don't get fat! He is worse than Hatton was.

I agree with that. Really don't like Saunders at this weight. I even think Ryder could beat him at 168.

Saunders vs Andrade should be the fight to make. 🥊

That's pretty much my take... it's a fight should happen, kinda needs to happen. But damn if it isn't about....

.... shet, I nodded off for a second then just thinking about it.

Bjs has good natural talent & looked like a world beater year's ago against lemew.
He belongs at 160 & in his personality he has wasted to many year's waiting for & i think still just wants that big cash cow fight.
