Comments Thread For: Joshua Would Take Less Pay To Stage Fury Fight in UK

Anthony Joshua says he would take less money if it meant his undisputed world heavyweight title fight against Tyson Fury would take place in the UK. Joshua, the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF champion, is likely to face Fury in Spring next year, providing he gets past Kubrat Pulev at the SSE Arena, Wembley, on December 12.

Joshua should want to stay in the uk. It would be a massive fight there and we all know that the 1st time he had to travel and came to the Us , he got all anxious, shet the bed and quit against a fat 30-1 underdog.

So basically Joshua ain’t ever fighting in America again 😂unless it’s against a less than worthy opponent. As soon as he got those belts back from Ruiz, I knew he was gonna insulate himself back in England and fight easiest opponents possible. Since then he’s chose to fight Pulev and in U.K.
Joshua and Hearn don’t want no smoke with Tyson fury.

Of course he would, AJ is too scared to show his face in America ever again.

He'd probably have another panic attack on the plane.

I'm sure Wild Boar won't mind considering he's giving all of his purses to charity. What a guy!

Josha's last two fights were abroad, Furys were too and you're going to complain if they fight one fight at home!

World champions defend their belts across the world American champions never leave home. Imagine an American tennis player who said nah US open only for me, or an athelete who claimed to be the best but wouldn't go to an Olympics or World Championships that wasn't in the States.

When boxing was good American champions did travel what happened? Tyson, Ali all travelled somewhere around Roy Jones they would only fight with home advantage and started insulting any other countries fighter who refused to give them that advantage.

Doesn't change he fact that Eddie said he was taking over boxing in America two years ago, and since Joshua had a panic attack in New York and quit against Unranked Andy Ruiz he refuses to go back.
