In one interview he would say he tried so hard to knock Garcia out and in the next he claimed he wasn't trying to do that cuz he wanted to prove he could box. The fact is he tried to KO Mikey and he failed.

But so what. He won and he won clearly. These PBC fighters are all running a big list of excuses for everything when the reality isn't even a problem. Spence went the distance against a smaller but elite level fighter, Wilder lost to an elite Heavyweight in his last fight. No need for excuses.

      No you dumb arse.

He was on FIRST TAKE and he said the only reason he went the distance with Mikey is because he wanted to “prove he can box from the inside” and then he proceeded in saying the only reason Porter fight was close was because of the exact same thing, he wanted to “prove he can box on the inside”.

That’s BS. He’s making excuses. Porter fight was tough because Porter was a tough opponent that Spence barely managed. And he couldn’t stop Mikey, that’s all.

          So he’s just saying “I could’ve, should’ve, would’ve”

          BS. Crawford mops him.

You're just repeating what you already said.

            Mikey fought to survive.

And no, his fight with Porter was not "tough". IMO, the only reason people it was close is because Porter is one of those guys who gets way too much credit for coming forward. even when he's getting tagged, even when he's getting outboxed, he gets credit for blindly walking into punches. Some dudes are just so impressed with Porter's heart that ignore how terrible he is at utilizing angles. He spent most of the fight with Spence smothering his own offense, but people see what they want to see.

Since he n ever lost a fight he does not need to make excuses. As to his punching power he has the highest percentage of KO wins of any top 5 welterweight and almost all of those wins were against full sized welterweights not lightweights or Jr welterweights. As for quality of welterweights fought and defeated his record is the best and far better than the welterweights Crawford has faced. I think he beats Crawford. As fortelling Spence to make the damn fight Crawford recently said he would never fight Spence for less than a 60/40 split of the money in his favor so tell Crawford to lower his unreasonable demand of him getting 60 to Spence's 40 so the damn fight can be made.

Well he said it himself, he had huge height reach and weight. Was meant to be a destroyer who stops light heavies and heavies in sparring .We were told he breaks bones in training. He hit Mikey pretty consistently. Mikey didn't even start out at lightweight and wasnt even big at that weight.Spence should've stopped him.

Again, based on what? Mikey has never been hurt before and knows how to survive. Many HW's should have stopped James Toney, who started at 160 as well.
