Proper breakdown jobs.
DDD's performance and Gormans subsequent performance have me questioning my original hype and opinion of Gorman which is a shame as I have liked him for years, speaking about him here before in the past as a talent among the brit prospects.

If DD never fights again, he made a smart move quitting. He's not a Kell Brook, an ex champion with skills and paydays. He comes from Warren's imagination, and he just got his head broke. The ****pit, headquarters, the brain pan. DD has nothing to aspire to, he'll never be as good as Warren made him out to be.

I don't blame the promoter for a boxer wanting to fight and move up. But Dubois trainers and "boxing" handlers did a terrible job with him ... not teaching him and conditioning him to always move your head when boxing. No fighter is wise to have low or no head movement, and it catches up to most who fail to do it.

Oh get off it for Christ’s sake. The kid is 23. In the heavyweight division that’s a baby. Your hatred is for a freaking promoter; A PROMOTER! When did it become posh to hate on promoters and promotional companies? I swear boxing fans are the window lickers of sports. You wonder why other sporting fans laugh at us hysterically? Because they don’t talk about franchise owners more than the actual players. Some truly helmet wearing, mouth piece donning, drool cup carrying idiots.

He doesn't need to fight 5 or 7 bums that have no chance in hell... He was unfortunate to pick up the injury, you could go 30-40 fights and some guys who take more punishment than DDD don't pick up that sort of injury. He needs to carry on stepping up and challenging himself, fight someone similar to Joyce learn from your mistake and try to get your own back by earning a rematch. A loss isn't the end of his career.

Not sure about that. He was leading on the scorecards. He just needs some semblance of defense.

                I disagree with Haye.

Dubois went in the favorite, 4 to 1.

If we're going to say that a guy who is hyped to the degree that Dubois was now has to keep building and doesn't deserve a chance at the big time, that's like saying Michael Spinks wasn't ready.

Sometimes you just meet your match. Dubois met his. It happens.

Clearly the answer is for Dubois to fight Wilder as his next fight.

                  Dubois-Usyk would be a big mistake. Joyce/Usyk is a match-up to make.

Stockholm syndrome? When you defend your abuser. Warren is just a salesman, he sold you a plated gold watch and you're going to wear it until you arm is green. Any heavyweight with Fujimoto on their resume is a fugazzi. You got took, quit acting like there's going to be a big come back.

I'll admit, I was taken in by Warren too, not by DD, but just as good. Since when is honest criticism hate? Warren is like a mom and pop grocery store, I'm not there looking for quality. Some of his domestic is good, but HIS guys get preferential treatment.
