I don't see how he can call people out with his skull dented. Can he pass a medical exam to fight? What happens when this dent gets hit hard? Or was that all photoshop and another big lie, along with all the numerous wild(er) conspiracy theories about manipulating gloves, egg weights, Breland spiking his water, costumes, etc? After all that, nothing he says has any credibilityComment

17th in the world is fantastic for Wilder, he has only ever fought 4 top 20 fighters his entire career. The vast majority of his fights have been against opponents rated 200 or lower.Comment

I'll bet you're a big Trump fan too. They have similar self-aggrandizing personalities.Comment

lol...youre forgetting that aj would have still fought ruiz and had to rematch him...because that fight was still going to happen even if wilder agreed to fight AJ....thus....that fight wouldnt be happening anyway
mismanaged? are you kidding me? you guys can hate on wilder...say he has no boxing skills...thats hes whatever you want to call him for the lame excuses he made....you can say alot of things about him...but mismanaged? prior to the first ortiz fight he was making 2-3 mil a fight......in his last 4 fights hes made over 100 million dollars!!!! can you name another american born boxer who is currently active that has made 100 mil in their career let alone their last 4 fights?
mismanaged? lmfao...some of you need serious help
Also:
Ruiz has nothing to do with Wilder. The AJ-Wilder talks started much before the name of Ruiz even reached anyone's ear.
Yes, mismanaged. When, as you said (and I'm still doubtful of) he went from $100m in 4 fights to not even getting a shot at a title - its mismanaged. And, unless something unexpected happens, Wilder is frozen out of a title fight for at least a year. At least. Not fighting for a title for 2 years for someone like Wilder is mismanagement. AJ and Fury, on the other hand have their careers managed very well. Fury went nuts, pulled himself together, fought a couple of nobodies, took title from Wilder and set himself up to make ludicrous amount of money with AJ. AJ has been fighting at not less than $20m per fight for a few years now while Wilder couldn't sell out an arena in Alabama. So...yes, Wilder's career is mismanaged.
P.S. I see no reason to hate Wilder. Being critical does not equal hate. Life isn't so black and white.Comment

I disagree. With the exception of AJ at one point no fighter ever needed Wilder. He was simply a titleholder. Heavyweights should still want to fight wilder as his name reconition is just as good or better than all heavyweights not named Joshua or Fury. Wilder earned 30M+ for both Fury fights and Ortiz fights and held the WBC title for years, that means he was mis-managed? The hate I see against Wilder on this thread is sometimes Insane.
2. "Heavyweights should still want to fight wilder as his name reconition is just as good or better than all heavyweights not named Joshua or Fury."
You should stop arguing with yourself. Looks a bit awkward.Comment

Hopefully he sticks to his word and fights any of the guys he’s mentioned. We need to see how Wilder is doing mentally after that big defeat.Comment
