Wilder/Ruiz.
Both guys Al Haymon.
That's an intriguing fight, because we know Ruiz is legit when he trains. Does Wilder spark out a focused, trained, determined Ruiz?
Because then it adds some smoke to Fury 2 having been a situation of Wilder just having a bad night.
But if Ruiz smokes Wilder like he smoked Joshua, it means Ruiz is better than we think he is.Comment

What are we talking about here?
Breazele rematch? Stiverne? Ortiz III? Because nobody else needs Wilder anymore - big risk, zero reward in terms of advancement towards the belt. White, if he comes through Povetkin, is too close to the belt to chance it again. Usyk can just sit and wait. Parker will likely to lose to Wilder, but the win over Parker won't move Wilder any closer to the belt. Wilder is frozen out of the championship fights at least until 2022. He'll be 37 then. Fury was his golden ticket, but no, he had to mess about for 9 months and then open his mouth. Not to mention what a debacle he had with AJ - could have earned tens of millions and had a decent shot at KOing AJ. Wilder is a perfect example of a mismanaged career.Comment

If Wilder was getting 30M+ to fight Ortiz and Brazeale, why would he fight Whyte for 7M?Comment

Its not that easy, Fury and Top Rank say they've already moved on despite Wilder claiming they are contractually obligated to fight the third fight. If wilder wants the third Fury fight he'll have to take them to court which could take months to years. At that point you have to ask yourself is it worth it to be on the shelf for that long.Comment

I gave up on this clown at 33 fights when he refused to fight Klitschko even though Finkel was theer advisor. There was no Fury, AJ, Warren, Hearn to deal with so he can't blame them or egg weights.
Fury and AJ both went on to fight a Klitschko and make their names in way fewer fights.Comment

First off anywhere you look places Wilder with a net worth of around 30 million. Certainly nothing to sneeze at but let's keep things in perspective. Lifestyle burns that kind of money up real quick, as does having eight kids from FOUR different women...
Now that that's out of the way many people define "success" many different ways. Unfortunately these days so many people define it by your wallet. Bottom line is I make a normal salary and I'm sure I'm more at peace with myself and who I am than Deontay Wilder is. I'm sure I'm also surrounded by (and choose to surround myself with) people who actually give a 5hit about me (he seems to have immediately fired the only person who isn't a leaching yes-man in his circle). And you couldn't pay me enough to be in his shoes. The man has become the laughing stock of an entire sport. And it's all because of his big dumb mouth and 5hitty delusional attitude, not because of his skills or lack of them. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks the man rose to be a World Champion. Sure some champions are better than others but he was still World Champ. He should carry himself as such in victory and defeat. Instead he acts like an immature baby playing the crybaby victim card who jumps up and down like a little spoiled child making all those ridiculous excuses. Crazy how there really is no shame at all in his defeat in the ring but more than enough to go around simply because of how he acts outside of it.Comment

Whyte... best rivalry, most dramatic build-up, guaranteed entertaining fight.
Joyce... a historic, must-see event... the hardest puncher versus the toughest chin in the sport of boxing.
Helenius... interesting clash of styles, and one of the most experienced active heavyweights other than Fury and Povetkin.Comment
